graco snugride

Who has it? We have looked at tons of car seats and the graco snugride has gotten really good reviews. We can't pick a color but that's not a problem. I wanted to know if anyone has it or has had it and not liked it? Also did you end up with a color you really liked. We are torn between so many . . .the platinum, logan, hazel and flint. lol. We are a VERY indecisive couple.

My sister in law has this carseat for her lil man and told me to not buy it. She didnt tell me why, but she said it was a wrong choice. We are going with the chicco 30. Have you checked those out? Very good reviews as well.

We have the platinum. It got really great reviews on amazon! I haven't used it yet since LO is still cooking, but it looks and feels super comfortable. The one thing I hated about most infant carseats was that they all felt extremely uncomfortable and hard fir a newborn. That's not the case with the platinum though.

I also have the SnugRide, but my LO isn't here yet.  It is compatible with our Graco Metrolite stroller.  The carseat we chose is pink/black, so cute!  Can't wait to see this little girl in it.

I have a snugride and we really like it...of course we have nothing to compare it to, but pretty much all of our friends that have babies also have the snugride and it came very highly recommended in baby bargains. We also have the Graco metrolite stroller. Also like it a lot (though I've only used it once or twice)

I have a chicco keyfit 30 and I don't like it :( My dh chose it after looking at them all and feeling like it was the sturdiest, but I hate how heavy it is and how small the shade is. I constantly have to put a blanket over it for shade because the sun shade is SO small. I have seen a snugride (not sure which one) that has a shade that goes all the way in front of the baby - and I wish I had that.

We had the SafeSeat which is identical to the Snugride 35 and we loved it. We had a cheapy evenflo one and she grew out of it at 6 months. My DD has always been in the 97% for height and 90% for weight. We just bought the Snugride 32 in the Mirabella print for the new baby girl and it's just as awesome.

we have the snugride as well.....i like it but we had to buy a head support thing because it seemed like our little man would always have his head tweaked out. I like the carseat and how easy it is to get in and out of the car and that it is compatiable with our jeep stroller. Other then having to buy the head support thing overall I have really liked it!

We're getting the Snugride 35 as well. Baby Bargains rated it really well.

We have the snugride 35 in Hathaway, but cant really review it yet since LO is not here yet. It is very sturdy feeling and VERY cushiony (unlike many seats). My  only worry is that ours might get hot because it has a velour type material on it. We LOVE the pattern of ours and had a family member bring it all the way from Arizona because it is only sold at Buy Buy Baby and we did not have one in LA at the time. LOL. (Crazy I know) The seat is a little heavy since it is the 35 version, but my hubby is 6'4" and a mule and will carry it whenever we are together and i will just deal when I have him alone. Most of the time I will just pop him into the stroller really quickly so it wont be that big of a deal I hope.

We just bought the Snugride 35 last night and like many of the other ladies, no review yet as LO is still baking away. DH did the research on it and it is compatible with the stroller we will be getting.

The only complaint I have about the snugride 35 is that it's so HEAVY - although my little guy weighs close to 15 pounds, so anything would feel heavy with him in it :)  I wish I would have bought just the regular snugride or the 32...I know the 35 holds up to 35 pounds (so you could use it longer) but there is NO WAY I will be able to tote that car seat in and out of the car when he is 35 pounds!

combes2be - my husband is in love with the carseat you got! he thinks the pattern is the coolest baby thing he has ever seen! I love it also but we wanted to keep ours gender neutral because we plan on having more kids in the near future.

Thank you Mandahalter. We love it too and love that it was totally different than any of the other patterns out there. It actually is VERY gender neutral and that is one of the reasons why we got it. The "blue" color is more seafoam green in person so its pretty neutral IMHO. We plan to use it for baby number 2 as well. I love the black and think it will look SO cool with our black uppa. The only bummer is that they dont sell an extra base in black so we had to get grey. Not that big of a deal and DH actually likes it because his interior of his truck is grey.

Combes- We registered for that seat in the same pattern! We registered for a highchair in the same pattern too! I love it and picked it because I also feel that it is very gender nuetral! :)

We have the Graco Snugride32 in Zurich:

http://www.amazon.com/Graco-SnugRide-Infant-Seat-Zurich/dp/B001GQ2P6O

We love it. We have a big baby (she's 1 year old and 31 inches and 24 lbs) and nearly outgrown it now. But it's been great to have the flexibility to pop it onto the Snap 'N' Go stroller frame when we need to (I normally wear her in a carrier when we're out and about)...and to have a base in each car for flexibility with that too. Now that she's bigger we got a Britax Boulevard CS 70 and it was pricey so I don't know what we'll do for the second car.
