Are you allergic to anything?
I suppose I should answer...
Just cats. I can't be in houses with cats unless I have a heavy dose of Claritin. I have developed a tolerance for my own kitty, except if I pet him and then forget and touch my face. Then I become a scary, puffy eyed person. It's not pretty :)
Cats, grass and dust mites. I think I might be allergic to more but I never finished my allergy tests because it cost a ton and my insurance didn't cover it. Plus the doctor realyl didn't tell me anything I didn't already know (like: take Allegra)!
I am allergic to dust mites, mold, and ragweed.
Plus side: I always get out of heavy cleaning ;)
Officially speaking, I'm allergic to dust mites, mold, and dogs. Like nicoleleblanc, I've only had limited allergy testing.
I know I have a lot of trouble breathing after being around certain types of smoke, especially burning leaves.
And I'm allergic to the drug Relafen. I have no clue why. It's an anti-inflammatory, and I took it for years, then I was off it a while and tried it again one day and went into full anaphylaxis. Scary stuff. But at least it's easy to avoid.
I'm allergic to a form of Penicillin -Amoxycillin. When I was in my last year of high school I came down with a bad flu/cold where I couldn't even sit up or stand without coughing non-stop until I laid back down. My Dr. gave me Amoxycillin and my fingers and toes immediately got really swollen.
I am allergic to cats, but then again I'm not even sure if it's even a "allergic reation" that I have but I always break out after touching cats. -- Now that I think about it, I don't think I'm allergic to cats, it's probably something else.
So therefore, I am not allergic to anything... that I know of!
Hahah Julie! <3 <3 <3
I have very mild allergies. Cats if I touch them or are really close to them will make me sneeze and eyes itch, etc.
I also developed a small allergy to avocado (same thing as people and bananas), but they make my tongue and lips kinda hurt and tingle, but I LOVE them so I still eat them. lol. If it was any worse, I wouldn't, so it's ok :)
I don't think it's an "allergy" exactly, but I have had to give up Gluten recently... this means looking for a "gluten free" cake for our vow renewal or going without. I think I have found a gluten-free bakery in Vegas, so will likely get a cake there. Going GF is really HARD... that stuff is in a LOT of food, it's really tough when you eat out.
I'm also allegric to some drugs as well...
I think I'm allergic to ragweed. One time I broke out in hives because I had too much shrimp in a matter of days, but I think that was a fluke. And even though I don't have an actual diagnosis, I think I'm allergic to some cleaners; everytime I walk down the cleaning aisle of a grocery store, I start itching like crazy!
uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... weeeelllllllll, a lot of things, actually. and they all cause anaphlaxis... :/
All Fresh Fruits and Veggies (so, most I can COOK and eat, just not raw) except for Bananas, and Avocados.
I'm allergic to peas, black beans, pinto beans, leeks....and Honey.
And on the medical side of things: Latex, the Z pack, and Advair....
And dogs. I'm allergic to dogs.
I *think* that's it, though I very nearly forgot honey... so yeah.
i use to be allergic to beef. thank goodness that is gone.
I am allergic to many things, but major ones are dust, pollen and fresh cut grass. Lately, I have had a box of Kleenex and my allergy medicine with me at all times with spring here.
I am allergic to pennicillin, but thats a boring one.
My entire family is allergic to mushrooms, and for that reason, I have always been afraid to eat them. I don't know if I'm allergic to them or not, but the one time I tried them I didn't like them and got a stomach ache. If I'm not allergic to them I would more than likely develop the allergy if I started eating them, so I don't. =P
So as far as I'm concerned, I'm allergic!
