Has anyone worn hair extensions for their wedding? How real did they look? Any brands to steer away from?
ummm I don't know the brand or anything but this crazy hair stylist (I hated him...he cut my hair without asking and his excuse was he's the stylist he has the right...and his other excuse was hes done martha stewarts hair) ANYWAYS sorry for that rant...but extensions in my hair for my engagement...but they weren't sown in or anything he pinned them in after he dyed them darker to match my hair...it was fine...def. made my hair look thicker and fuller in the back...sorry that prob wasn't much help. I can send you a pic if you want
I have extensions, but they are sown in. I got mine at 17th and Glam in Costa Mesa. I didn't really 'need' them b/c everyone said my hair was long enough- but I REALLY wanted them and splurged. I wanted more length, fullness, and better to curl with... So I love them, they just took a week or so to get used to...
My friend has clip in ones and loves them too, They look awesome. They will last A LOT longer then mine and you can just wear them when you want. She got hers at Parks Salon, in Laguna Niguel by Sarah. Both of ours look real- unless you know your stuff haha since my hairs so long :) They are actually real hair- so thats a plus. Synthetic can look too shiny and not mesh with your real hair well...
We both spent a penny, but I didn't want to have the cheap store clips in, you know? I just got mine (8 weeks until the wedding) so I would have them for all my events and pictures, I didn't want to do it just the day of I guess. I am happy with my choice...
- HMM :)
I am doing clamp on. They are basically like comb in only more sturdy. I will let you know how my trial goes in August.
i'm having angelina from all made up do my extensions the day of my wedding. the extensions are human hair and come out the next time you wash your hair.
i have to buy the extensions which cost about $50 and they are charging me $50 in addition to their bridal hair costs.

my cousin used extensions and her hair looked great!... couldnt tell. Not sure about the brand but i think hair extensions look great if they are dont correctly.
i brought a set on wef clips look and feel great! i only wanted them for volume!
My hair dresser put in clip in human hair extensions and I loved it! It added volume and length and I never felt them the entire day!
I have extensions sewn in every 4 weeks. Love it
I wore extensions on my wedding day, I went w/my hairdresser the her beauty supply and it cost $65 for the 18 inch silky straight, whatever that means, and she glued it on. She blended it perfectly w/my hair. Taking it off the next day was another story.
