Whats the most traditional and least traditional thing at your weddings?
Hey ladies, It's april 24th for me too!
As Nardiab's question about what are the most traditional and untraditional parts of my wedding. Most traditional would have to be my dress/the clothing of the wedding party in general (aside from my shoes, more on that later!). Most untraditional would be everything else, we basically decided to throw the norms in the wind and came up with what would make us happy. The processional is "All I Want is You" (you might recognize it from the Juno soundtrack), the recessional is "Something's Got a Hold on Me" by Etta James. The best man is a best maid, and all the ladies, myself included are wearing RED shoes (my mom's idea!). All the table names are are theatre related because my FI and I are both in theatre (behind the scenes aspects) and we get so many questions about what we do from family and friends, so each table name has a little description of definition of the term!
But probably my favorite part non-trad aspect is dinner, we're having it catered by a traditional taqueria so it's sopes, rice, beans, chips, and salsa for all!
Now I'm curious, what are you ladies doing that makes you even more excited about the day?
Hey ladies...im here! and im so behind on EVERYTHING. Maybe I can live vicariously through you ladies. Ughhhhh!
I'm also getting married April 24th... My wedding is at 2:30 pm how about you girls??? Also any of you getting married outdoors and/or near Indiana?
I am an April 24th bride and my invitations just went out this morning.... it's starting to feel really "real" now!!!! Now all I have to do is place setting cards and programs!
Mine is at 2.30pm too! But Im getting married in the UK so there will be a bit of a time difference! My rsvp's are all back so the table plan is done, had a meeting with reception venue saturday and now just have to put everything tother, and wedding dress fitting on monday!!
ahhhhhhhhhh tooo scared about wedding dress fitting monday!!!
Okay, I was suppose to send out my invites two weeks ago... and now its pass the 8 weeks. Long story but the paper is on back order and waiting for the thermo print to be completed by the printer. DIY Project. What to do?!?
Our table numbers will be special dates that we share, like the date he proposed, the date we met, etc.
