I will see how the reviews are, but I'm a big fan so I might be tempted to go for the first showing.

Ooooh, I can't wait to see it, but probably not on Wednesday. We'll go on Friday or Saturday.

I want to, but I am not sitting around a bunch of noisy excited kids. I can wait awhile. I don't know about the book though, I really want to know what happens in the end!

I thought Harry was pretty good. It was very entertaining and had a great special effects. My friend didn't really like it though, but he's kind of picky like that. =P

It was great! Loved Umbridge's portrayal. (off to read #6 before #7 comes out)

I think it was the best out of the Harry Potter movies so far. You definitely have to have read the books beforehand though. I read book 5 twice so I remembered everything that would happen which helped me keep up.

All the Harry Potter movies seem to move too fast to me though. I wish they would spend a little more time to let the plot develop more naturally. I felt the same way about Transformers, but that's Michael Bay so what do you expect. I like Lord of the Rings pacing and length.

I totally agree with you Joe. I mentioned to my FI that I wished they had special editions, like LOTR did - but those all were made by the same director.

The LOTR: Return of the King special edition was like 4 hours long - too long for cinema audiences.

I watched it with DH today and we were both disappointed. We didn't like the story at all with the ministry taking over Hogwart's. I guess we should have read the book first. Dolores just bugged the heck out of me. I am so glad the centaurs took her away in the end. Like Joe said, maybe they need to spend a little more time to develop the plot. I still think the first 2 installments were the best.
