Have you had any bridezilla moments?

Have you had any bridezilla moments?

I must admit that I have had a few bridezilla moments... especially when it came to choosing the venue. I had to let go of my "vision" since my vision was more than we could afford.

I just had one last week. My mother could not get me the names of some relatives and wanted me to just write on the placecard "Surname 1"..."Surname 2"...etc etc. That just sounded so ridiculous to me that I blew up and said "I don't care how you get their names, just get their names!?@?!@?!" No, it was not a pretty sight. ;)

Heh. I would have had a Bridezilla moment much earlier, over having to host people whose names neither I nor my mother (nor your fiance nor his mother, I presume) know. But that's me. :-D

I don't think Bridezilla is about losing your temper so much as it is losing your temper over unreasonable things. Insisting that your guests have the courtesy of being addressed by name is not unreasonable.

Yes! I hate to admit it, but yes. An I noticed that as I get closer to our wedding day it's becoming more frequent.

The very latest one was choosing the BMs shoes. I just told them that they need to make the decisions themselves and leave me out of it. As long as they are happy, I will be happy.

I haven't really been a Bridezila but I recently have the biggest case of "Bride Brain"....second guessing all of my wedding-related decisions...

With less than 3 months to go, I just got a new dress (technically number 5...don't ask!) and new shoes (pair number 3)...

I am having moments where I hate everything detail I have planned...most recently the wording on our invites (why did I put "sunset ceremony" when it's at 4 pm and the sunset is at 6:30 pm?)

AND the closer I get to the Big Day (did I mention, less than 3 months!) the more bridal I want to be (9 months ago, when I first got engaged...I was the antibride)...like, now I want a veil (but can I decide what kind? Fingertip or elbow length? Plain or embellished? Tulle or chiffon? ARG! It's maddening!

My "Bridezilla" moment came when all the ladies in our families were telling us what color we should choose for our wedding (because certain colors are considered 'bad luck' in the Chinese culture)! I told DH that if I heard another word from his family or mine about the colors or what we can or cannot do, I would call off the wedding and just live in sin with him for the rest of my life! After that conversation, nobody said anything about our wedding anymore! =)
