Hello! How is everyone?

Hi ladies! How is everyone doing? I've been MIA for awhile and wanted to check in while I had the chance. I hope you all are doing good :)

Hi Val!!  How are you?!?!  Anything new?  Any updates on your treatment?

I'm doing good, hoping AF comes so I can start round 2 of Clomid and see what happens. :)

I O-ed last month on CD 26 or 27 they think, so at least it's working.  But DH and I probably missed our window because we were BD-ing earlier in the month (like CD 12 - 22).  I just thought I wasn't going to O, I went in on CD 21 for a blood draw and it said I didn't O.  But and then my Dr. made me go in for a blood draw on CD 25 and 26, which came back with a Progesterone increase, and sure enough my temps climbed and indicated I O-ed too.  I missed taking the OPK on CD25 too, so this was probably just not meant to be our month.  Even though I'm sad that we probably missed our window, I'm just happy Clomid is working and I don't have to increase my dose yet.  On to the next month!! :)

I'm so glad you ladies are doing good!

@Allie, DH and I did that too....BD'ing earlier than we should have. But we listened to our RE and did the timed BD when I had the HCG trigger shot. Good luck on the next round!

Hi October9....I'm keeping my fingers crossed for ya! I hope the clomid works for you.

Note to everyone:  I'm trying to stay off the radar so people from the MF don't see, so I'm going to post on here too.  But I also got my BFP, 4 of them actually, last night/this morning.  I am in complete, utter shock!!  I swore, as you can read in my prior posts, that we missed our window this round.  And the craziest part is, I had a VERY vivid dream on Saturday night that DH and I had a baby girl.  I am 4 for 4 with my pregnancy dreams.  I'm thrilled, but I honestly don't know how this happened.  And I feel guilty posting about it, because I want all of you who have struggled to get your BFP too. :(  But I also don't want you to read it on another forum and wonder why I didn't tell you.   Wishing you all the best of luck, I will still post in here and try to follow everyones journey... and of course, I will tell you if I ever have dreams about any of you!!  <3 you ladies!! :)

Oops, forgot to add how I was doing, lol!
I am doing much better emotionally. I had a follow-up RE appt last Thursday morning after 3 more failed "natural" cycles. He gave me a Rx for Clomid and for the trigger shot (sitting in my fridge right now). May 16th I go in for an ultrasound to check how i'm responding and then shortly after I do the shot and then go back in 36hrs later for our first IUI. I am terrified it won't work but excited to be doing something different. Having a plan of action has really gone a long way to put the excitement back into the ttc journey. :)

I said it in my other post but congrats again! :)

Allie-  Please don't feel guilty about posting it here.  I've been routing for all of you and I think it gives each of us inspiration and hope when we see BFP's from this group!  I was so happy to see V's update and am so happy for you!  I know we will all get our BFP's when it's our time!  <3

Congrats V and Allie!!!!!

I know, I just know how much I felt disappointed in myself when I read a BFP post on the TTC boards... I've been thrilled about every single one on here, because we have all shared our struggles.  I'm still extremely happy for anyone who gets a blessing, but it just stung more when it was without even trying or something.  KWIM?  Well I seriously thank all of you for the amazing support you provided to me.

If you're on Clomid, take baby aspirin and Mucinex and use that Preseed!!  I guarantee I would not have had this happen if it weren't for the awesome advice on these boards. :)

I would take them as soon as your cycle starts to get it in your system.  I took one low dose aspirin daily.  For the Mucinex (the kind with ONLY Guaifenesin- DH got me the generic brand and I guess it did the trick), I would take between 2 and 4 pills a day (check the directions on the back to be sure you aren't taking more than what's recommended daily).  I started with 2, but still had no CM, so I bumped it up to 4!! :)

October beat me to the punch. I was about to ask the same thing. :)

Also, do not feel guilty. Like I said to Val on the other post, it is verrrry different to see bfp's on this board. I actually would have felt a little stung if you didn't share with us. I feel so invested in everyone's journey and think about how everyone is doing all the time. I am really glad you shared your news with us. It is awesome and deserves to be celebrated. This groups needs as much hope as we can get and your (and Val and Bean etc) story only serves to lift our spirits. Congrats, again! :)

I am new to Clomid so I hadn't been keeping up on the Clomid posts over the past few months so I don't really know much.
Do you take baby aspirin to thin the uterine lining? I am on CD 6 (day 4 of Clomid), should I start taking baby aspirin now? Do you know if that is ok to do or a no-no with an IUI cycle?

The aspirin thickens the lining to prepare it for implantation!! :)  I have no idea if it is ok with IUI, I would think so because it is such a low dose, but you might want to check with your Dr to be sure. :)

Congrats to all the new BFP's!!! We're on a roll! :). Allie, your dreams are tripping me out! ;-)

A note on the aspirin and mucinex..they aren't a sure fire thing so keep that in mind. I took baby aspirin and my lining was still thin and I took TONS of guaifenesin and had zero CM. Clomid was kinda sucky to me! :). Pressed is a MUST though...and stay hydrated. Those both help.

I'm just waiting for AF to either show or not show next week and then it's on to injections in my belly and back to back IUI's! :)

Oh yes Beatie, I didn't mean it was a sure thing!  I just think it probably helped!! :)  I still didn't seem to have CM, but I was only judging by what didn't come out on my panties or when I wiped.  I still think maybe it helped all the way up there, but who knows.  The Preseed was definitely a God send!! :)  Like everything, it works for some and not for others... but it's good to at least try it all!! he he

Best of luck to all of you~

G8R.grl, have you asked your MD about prometrium/progesterone? I'm taking that right now to thicken my lining a bit more. My progesterone level wasn't low or anything but they wanted to see my level at at least 20 (my last level was 15.7). I haven't heard about aspirin as a uterine lining thickener, I have always known it as a blood thinner. But when I looked it up, it seems to be used very commonly for uterine lining thickening.

I'm so happy to hear from all of you! I love sharing my news with you ladies because you have all been there through the journey and really understand. I can't wait to hear about everyone else's BFP's :)
