Help me choose...please

ugh...Too many choices!  I am so indecisive!

I want to change the lamps in my living room because they are a bit on the traditional side and I would like something more contemporary (posted this on 'our first home' group).  I'm going to first try to change the lamp shades to a drum shade which I've already ordered.  But I just wonder if it'll be enough so I'm already thinking about Plan B which is buying new lamps.  I would need one table and one floor.

Here is my living room:

Here are the lamps I'm considering:

I also wonder if it has to be the same finish as my dining room fixture which is just off  the living room...you can't see it too clearly but it's like a

dark iron bronze type finish. If so, I'd have to eliminate #2 which is the least expensive!

3. I like the round shape, it plays off of the round tables that they will be sitting on.

I definitely like our lamps (that are a "metal") to be in the same family, in terms of color, as our fixtures in the same room.  However, I don't think it has to be that way.  I am pretty drawn to # 2 and # 3.  #3 is my fav though :)  #4 might be my vote, but I'd have to see the lamp shade more zoomed in.

I'm glad you're still open to trying a drum shade on your current lamps, but I hear where you are coming from.  I think the base of the lamp is quite traditional, as well, so I can see you going for a 100% contemporary set.

#3 is my favorite too, but it is the most expensive!  which is why I was looking for other options.  bah!

Athena, here is a link to #4 so you can see it more zoomed in...I can't copy and paste it.
