Help! Which wedding package would you choose?! I cannot decide!

We are signing the contract this Thursday and I can't decide on which package. Saturday brunch package: Brunch/breakfast food, 50 guests, free flowing champagne and mimosas (10:30- 2pm) $3770 Saturday Afternoon package: Plated lunch food plus cocktail hour, 75 guests, free flowing beer, (12- 4:30) $7400 While the afternoon package includes more, it is quite the price increase. Which would you choose? My dad is helping us, so if we do the Saturday brunch his contribution covers it all. If we go with the afternoon package we would have to contribute 2k of our own money that could go towards a honeymoon, nicer wedding dress, or even our savings. What would you do?

How many guests are you planning on having? That would be the deciding factor for me I think.

Knowing my family & friends, they would prefer the afternoon option, but if you have your heart set on a more expensive dress or luxury honeymoon then go for the brunch. You will still be just as married either way, so do what makes you happiest xx

I like the afternoon package even though it's more expensive however I agree that it depends on how many guests.  I also agree it depends on what you plan to spend money on in the future.  If you will be saving for a home or anything really expensive go with the cheaper option.

It really depends on what you and your FI have envisioned for the wedding.  Did you envision a ceremony in the early morning or later in the morning?
