HELP! with RSVP wording!

My venue has requested that i color code my escort cards, of their menu selection to keep from people changing their minds at the last minute... so im having a hard time figureing out how i should word my RSVP cards to have each individual persons menu choice? most of my invites will be going to family homes, with adult children or more then a couple house holds... so whats the best way to get it all down, so i can later mark what each person wants on their name card... so that the venue will know who gets what, without their being a ton of wording on the rsvp?

OR

should i just use more of the invitations and just send an invite to Mr. and Mrs., child1 and guest, child2 and guest... and keep the invites simple with an initial or something even if they all live in the same household or have requested that i mail it to their parents home etc??

id like to keep it uniform so i can use my DIY invites templates to the best of its abilities...

suggestions please!

I did something similar to this (sorry, I don't have a photo of the actual one on my tablet), but I used numbers instead of pictures -

1 - Steak

2 - Salmon

3 - Vegetarian

the guest fills in their name and then circles their meal choice next to it. Does that make sense? I can find the actual one I made on my laptop if not xx

I think you should go with her suggestion.

thats really cool canooknic... but what would you do when there are housholds that have 4 or even 6 people in it. (my own would be a perfect example if my family were invited to a formal thing... theres 6 of us living under one roof...)

I did 4 lines, but that was because anyone with more than 4 had younger ones that would have the children's meal, you can put as many lines as you want in I guess, it's just a case of altering the font size to fit the size of card you want to use
