honeyfund

I always thought that honeymoon funds weren't proper by my standards (same as asking for money) so I didn't sign up for one.

The other night a few of my early twenties friends begged me to sign up for one because its so much cooler to give an experience instead of knives and kitchen goods. I guess it totally makes sense for the not domestic crowd with a sense of adventure.

Have any of you used a honeymoon fund that you can recommend? I need to sign up.

I registered with Honeyfund.com. FI and I have lived together for 6 years. We don't need any kitchen gadgets or towels. We have all that. We'd rather have an amazing honeymoon.

EDIT: I'd just like to say that I don't think there's anything wrong with registering for a honeymoon. It's the same as buying from a wedding registery at Bed, Bath, and Beyond or Crate and Barrel.

I also registered with honeyfund, and it was a success for us!  We wanted to go to Italy for our honeymoon and our friends and family were excited for us, so a lot of them bought us excursions, hotel stay, food, etc.

We used honeyfund.com, and it was AWESOME. Best move we ever made. I didn't want a bunch of  'things' cluttering up our kitchen, and we really didn't need anything extra. This was the perfect solution, easy to use. Our entire HM to Europe was paid for and we had extra money left over for a Macbook Pro. Highly recommend!!!

I did a lot of comparisons and research for what's offered and we decided to go with honeyfund.com.

We did a ton of research, and we decided to go with Honeymoon Pixie. I thought Honeyfund's whole idea of printing out a certificate to bring to the wedding was kind of strange and added extra steps to the process. With Honeymoon Pixie, guests can just pay for things right there online. It was really easy, and our guests really loved it!
