How did you do your invitations?

I am not crafty, nor do I have the budget or the desire to spend a lot of money on my invitations. I'm not too picky about the design, but I do want them to look nice. The most I will do DIY-wise is add a ribbon lol. I want to order about 100 invitations with RSVP cards and maps and I don't want to spend more than $200 dollars. Any suggestions on how to save money? Has anyone tried Vista Print? What was your experience?

We're trying to print our own out - we bought a card making software for £20 which has given us the blueprint for chequebook invites but there are loads of others. The only problem is working out how to decorate them to make them look professional and not like they're from a nursery class! :)

Local invitation sho, the lady was a total life saver!!! She answered all my questions, plus I got to see exactly what they looked which was awesome. I highly recommend if there is a local shop to go to, GO!!!! I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have someone there to walk me through it all!!!!!\

Oh and I confess, I paid an xtra 100 dollars to have the pocket invitations come already assembled..... trying to not over stress myself :)

I bought 2 kits from Target and just printed them out. I was totally into diy-extravaganza-ing the whole thing, but decided against it!

Michaels has do it yourself kits also, maybe you should check those out?

I am not crafty at all... but I took on the task of DIY pocketfolds- I ordered the cardstock and pocketfolds from Cards & Pockets and then printed them @ home, and assembled them with the help of the MOH.  I loved my invites, but they were a labor of love and for what they would have cost to have someone do them I saved a ton of money!
