How do I pick?

Is it just me, or does it seem like that I can never decide what to pick? For example, I find a cake I really like, but then a week or so later, I start doubting it... Is this a normal thing? I feel like it just isn't the "perfect" cake, flowers, photographer etc. etc.

How do you over come this?! I know I over think these things.. But how do you finally put your foot down?!!??

I am always all over the place. One week I love one design, the next another. When it came to my dress I stopped looking. And if it isn't perfect at the time keep on looking. Or give yourself a week to think about it, and it is all you can think about then you know it's the right decision.

Good Luck!

You're not alone. God knows how many times I've changed my mind on almost everything related to the wedding details. I bought my 1st dress at the end of February and last month, while I was shopping for accessories, I got myself dress #2. The good things is that dress #1 hasn't been altered so I'll sell it on e-bay after the wedding (when I have time to deal with it).

I have one month before my wedding and I finally made a decision on my flower colors. I bought a polaroid camera and film from target and changed my mind a week later because I saw a cool personalized guest book - now I'm flip flopping on this again.

My advice, after you make a decision on any aspect of the wedding (dress, flowers, favors), is to stop looking! Otherwise, there will ALWAYS be things may make you change your mind.

Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of return shipping charges.

I've also sorted through the pics I've collected several times to weed through the things I don't like anymore. It has really helped me zero in on what I really really like.

You are not alone. I must have changed my color scheme a million times. blue/brown --> blue/white --> gold/white/ivory --> blue/gold --> blue/red --> red/brown --> red/???

What made me finally buckle down was that I ran out of time and needed to make a decision otherwise pay huge rush fees. =)
