How many cars?

Is there a rule of thumb to estimate how many cars you will need parking for based on your guest count?

For example, if I am having 220 guests, is there a rule of thumb or formula for me to know about how many cars I should tell my valet to expect?

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

 BUMP!

I don't know the answer to this one, but hopefully someone does. Maybe estimate that 1 car per 2 people?

Contact your venue.

I'm sure they will handle it!

NicoleJuliette,

Thanks! Hopefully someone has an idea ...

Fearce,

My venue is a private house so a lot of the planning is "d-i-y". My d-o-c suggested I go by the amount of invitations, families will usually go together and some may group up. Using the invites might work.

if you count the number of yes responce cards you should have a pretty accurate count of the number of cars.  it is unlikely that a family would come in more than one car.
