How many dresses?

I am planning or wearing a colored wedding dress. Gray or purple. But will like to wear a traditional white dress too. How many brides have more that one gown? How did you incorporate this in the wedding?

Alot of brides wear a white dress for the ceremony and part of the reception then change dresses. Have you thought about wearing the white dress and maybe having a purple/gray sash?? For example making the ribbon gray and the flowwers purple.

Ditto - many brides have separate ceremony and reception gowns!

I had one dress, but ditto @SDonisi, most brides wear one dress for the ceremony and then change into the recetion dress after the first dance/before (whenever they like)

That's probably the easiest way to do it for sure! One for ceremony, one for reception!!!

If you are looking for a gray and purple sash I have one for sale! I haven't listed it for awhile, but I probably will soon :)

I'm wearing a colored gown. Though I'm not wearing multiples. I think the other girls are spot on about a ceremony dress and a reception dress.

I was originally going to have a ceremony dress and later change into a shorter dress for the reception because I love to dance, but I loved my dress so much and the feeling of being "the bride" that I ended up not purchasing two dresses.

i think two is enough, the traditional wedding dress will wear for the ceremony, and the colored one for the wedding party.
