How many pets do you have?

We are thinking about getting a third dog when we move into our house in May. We have two small dogs right now (cocker spaniels) and would getting a Cavalier King Charlies spaniel.

We used to foster and had 6 dogs at one time, it was far too many. But I think three would be manageble. What are your opinions on amount of pets in a home?

We have a dog and a cat.  In the past, through foster programs, I've had two dogs at a time and thought that was WAY too much to handle - although the second dog being a foster was usually a bit of a pill because they were insecure and hadn't been trained well.

So, I think 3 dogs can work if they are gentle, quiet, and trained!  I know that three big dogs would be a chore, but little ones like that. . .why not?  Just make sure you want a 3rd if and when a baby comes along.

I have 2 dogs - A Boston Terrier that stays inside and an American Bulldog/??? that is huge and stays outside. I would so get another one if I could afford to keep them healthy with heartworm, flea meds, etc. I just can't afford another vet bill!

We have 1.  A boxer.  He is super high-strung, so I don't think we could handle another one.  Especially when the baby gets here.

We have one puppy, one cat, and two kittens. We just recently gave away two pitbulls, lost one to an illness and I gave away three cats and two birds! It all depends how much patience you have and how much free time time you have. I'm in between jobs so I have time although they did sometimes drive me a little crazy... I'm pretty sure another dog won't be a problem but be careful don't pick up every stray you find like me♥ ;) and end up with 6 dogs lol.

We have 2 cats.

One Siamese named Princess that I had before FH came along. And we were chosen as we like to say to find a stray around the house that we named Smokey. They are complete opposites in looks and disposition so it gets really interesting around our house :)

We love our babies though and wouldnt know what to do without them around.

I have two Cavaliers!  Sophie and Duncan. We also have three cats, Maine Coon Alex, a Tuxedo named Miss Mouse and a Siamese mix, Stormy.  No more pets to add on to this motley crew but someday I want a French Bulldog or a Pug.  I love all types of dogs except poodles and chiuhuahas (not that their bad dogs, I've had both) but I really find with my lifestyle (travel a lot), I like smaller to medium dogs.  I grew up with Shelties.
