How much did you spend...

Hello!

How much did you spend on your husband's wedding ring? Did you let him pick it out? Did you surprise him?

My Fiance picked out his 2 favorites and is letting me pick which one to give him. I like them both, but one I love more than the other because it's more detailed. of course that's the one that costs more lol! I'm just trying to decide between looks and cost. The more detailed one is $350 and the other is $200. I can't decide!

We picked our bands out together. He's not a jewelry guy at all so this was going to be very strange for him and he needed to like it lol. We had figured around $300-400 but the band he ended up liking the best was only $75. Men have it so easy, because this was a really nice, really reasonable ring!

We're the opposite of Sam. We firgure about the same $300-400, but we ended up spending $850! I figure that since my DH isn't a jewelry guy and this is his one piece for life, that it was worth the splurge (especially since my e-ring and wedding band are WAY more than his $850!)

DH isn't a jewellery guy either (except watches - he has lots of those!)

He bought an engraved silver band when we were in Jasper and got engaged (not an engagement ring, he just saw it and liked it) and  he bought a new one so it was shiny for photos..... They were $25 each!!

I felt bad because it was such a small amount so I bought him a watch and gave it to him on the day !!!

If you like one more than the other...it is worth the money! Like Nicole said, this is for life so an extra $150 is nothing divided by how many months he will wear it :) We spent I think $700 because white gold was (or still is, not sure) expensive and it was the one he liked! And he never takes it off so it was well worth it.

Thanks ladies! He keeps telling me "I don't need anything fancy. I don't need something very detailed"

This is the one I like most. (He loves the Celtic design)

Triton Black & White Tungsten Carbide Band for Him

And this is the other one. I like it too, but the other one just catches my eye more lol This is the one he said to get him because he doesnt need something fancy or detailed. But, He likes them both. So, I'm just lost lol

DH hardly evers wears his ring because he's on job sites so much and even though he's not physically doing the labor or running any equipment, OSHA requirements say nothing like that that *could* get caught in anything. So he usually keeps it in his work truck and forgets to wear it on the weekends...so I"m actually glad we didn't spend that much lol!

My FI isn't a ring man. He wears a watch most of the time and will wear some jewelry when we get dressed up and go out. He says he likes Titanium which is very cheap. I have allotted $500 for his ring but I am sure we will spend less because I want him to like it.
