How much did you spend on wedding invitations?

Just curious what might be a reasonable amount to spend on invitations. Been seeing that DIY ones consume a lot of time and energy and may not really save a lot of money. So I guess I'm going to order some, but not sure what kind of costs would be reasonable.

Uuumm... I did DIY ones and those were still at elast $150 for about 100. It may have even been $200, but I don't think it was that high.

$700 - But we had to have 2 different sets b/c one had to be in English and another in Portuguese, which doubled the price.  I just don't like to think about it!

700 But we had photo 3009451-1

I DIY'd our STD's.  And you're right, if I wanted simpler ones it would have cost me way less, but I fell in love with these and wasn't going to shell out like $4 each for them.  It took a couple weeks straight to finish with the help of my sister & mom!

I'm planning to spend about $150 for 75 for printing only. I designed my own, so I just need them printed. :)

$80 on 60 DIY from scratch STD's, and $65 on 3 boxed invitation kits from Michael's (90 invites, but will probably only be sending out 70). I might be adding a DIY'd belly band to the invite kits, so maybe an extra $20 or so there.

Mine were approx $5/ea but we only had to make about 15, so $75 wasn't too bad on our budget.

I'd say close to $350 for 75 invites. The majority of the cost was on the damn pocket folds I HAD to have. And postage was $1.28 per inviteI d say close photo 3009464-1I d say close photo 3009464-2.

I think the total came to somewhere around 650-700...... I had pocket folds and I LOVED THEM!!! Oh and all I had to do was put the cards inside each invitation.... I would not liked to have had to glue them all together!

I bought the box kit at Michael's. 1 box at a time with my 40% off coupons. I also spent $30 on loose rhinestones and embellishments to dress them up. About $100 total for 90 invitations

I don't even know yet how many invites I'll need, but I want to do bilingual ones, which would be more $$ I'm assuming.

I spent about $4 per invite.  I had pocketfolds with 4 inserts & the RSVP card & envelope.  I used vellum envelopes so they were a bit more as well!

I spent about 450 on supplies and graphic design and another 100 for postage. So approximately 5.50/invitation.

It came to $225 for about 60 invitations. I went to Michaels for their package but then I wanted to add color so we bought custom envelopes, and then they charged me extra fees because I didn't order 100 of everything, and then when I went back out to my car I got a parking ticket for $60 for being like two minutes late... and I totally count that towards our budget LOL. Watch out for stamps, that was another big hit.

Around $200 for 60 STDs, 200 invites, 200 RSVP postcards and 200 accommodation/directions cards.

Don't really have any great pics here at work, but here's what I have! I sent them out packaged 2 different ways. That's what happens when you run out of ribbon and don't feel like going to the store.
