I just wanted to find out what the typical cost is for an officiant?
I have seen them range from free to 350 dollars in my area (colorado) depending on religion, services, provided, rehearsal etc.
My officiant cost $405 total ($370 for her services and $35 for travel fee). I'm in the CA area.
I think $300-2000 depends on what you need.
I'm paying $400 for an officiant in Yosemite. That includes his 2-hour round-trip travel time.
Our officiant was $600...Seems like I should have shopped around but we love her!
It seems like the average cost (depending where you are, of course!) is between $400-$600. Yikes!
Mine was $225 + $35 travel fee. I'm in LA area.
Mine is charging $200 + $50 fee. He has married all my sisters. Might be a deal for that.
we are payng 400.00 for a priest to do a catholic ceremony outside! in the pasadena, ca area
wow I need to change my job... LOL
Ours recommended a donation between $400-$500. We gave $500 because we really liked him.
Mine is $175
Hey Emma...where are you located? My FI is a licensed reverend..and he'll do it for $80...plus 2 seats at the reception..(we love weddings LOL )
Mine is $375.00 which isn't bad, but he ripped us on the rehearsal... he wanted $275, I got him down to $200, I still think that's crazy, but what can we do..
we're lucky....friend of FI's parents is a judge in CA....so ours is FREE!! (we will tip him, of course though!)
We're lucky too. A friend is marrying us (ordained online) but we plan to give him a gift. Any good officiant gift ideas?
i think we're just giving cash or Visa/Amex gift cards
I am not having the officiant come to the rehearsal is that out of the ordinary, m DOC will be there though!
We're paying a total of $810, but that includes the church, the minister, the organist, the "cleanup fees" and the rehersal.
250 in Atlanta
