How much have you ever considered for your wedding dress budget and how much you really pay it?

Hi, all sweeties. I am wondering  how much have you ever considered for your wedding dress budget and how much you really pay it. Is it that you would spend more than you budget?

To be frank, I had a budget of $300. I had no plans to spend a dime more. And I got my gown under that amount. I was also lucky, my dress looked as if it was sewn on my, so I didnt need any amendments.

I knew right away when planning my wedding that I was not going to spend a lot on my dress. I definitely wanted to look and feel like a bride, but didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress that I would never wear again, so my budget was between $500 & $700.00. I didn't let them show me any dresses that were not in my price range. I found my beauty at David's Bridal on sale for $399.00 and the sash for $69.00.

My dress was $1,500. I paid $1,577. Can you believe it?! Right within budget! :)

But that total included the dress, the veil ($425), corset bra and the "spanks" skirt!

I originally was going to find the dress under 500, but then my mom offered to pay for it and she wanted the whole experience at a nice dress shop and everything like that, so we went. She told the lady max 1500, and we walked out with my dress that was 875! However stupid alterations added to that total. Still not crazy, but more than I would have spent on my own. lol.

i told them my budget was between 300-500... including alterations. i walked out with an 800 dollar dress on credit. (dumb me should have just bought it out right) BUT the only alteration needed is length when i find my shoes and maybe a bustle snap. so not too bad... but not too thrifty.

My budget was $3,000 but I ended up paying under $2,600.  I haven't done alterations yet, though... fingers crossed that they aren't through the roof!

My bugget is between 400-800, but lately I searched wedding dresses online and I found two websites. 1.www.bellasdress.com, 2.www.discount-dress.com. It seems their wedding dresses are cheaper than I think. I browse their websites and look through their buyers' reviews, then I think I could trust these two websites. I would take these websites in consideration when I want to buy my wedding dress.
