how much was your big day?

Our big day cost about $12,946.56 didn't include the center pieces or the invitations cause we made them. We used empty wine bottles as our center pieces that was a Missouri wine grape. We had 12 tables so we used 12 wine bottles. And also our bridal party gifts. We dont think that we didnt do that bad on our big day. I forget to include my engagement ring. And also our plane tickets to Florida for our honeymoon. the grand total is $16,626.05.

20 years ago EVERYTHING including my mothers and my dress cost ME $750. I bought my mom a dress as a present.

The vow renewal will be about the same. I am DIY and I called in a few favors from firnds so while I will have EVERYTHING I did NOT have before I still don't have to pay for it. The way I saved money was on flowers.

This time I will only be using carnations and 5 roses in my bouquet and I will not be using flower center pieces I will use milk glass desert dishes from salvation army for 50 cents with tea light candles for a soft glow.

Last time I bought platters this time I am making them all by hand.

Honeymoon included we paid a little over 12,000.00. I splurged a little on the invites even though originally I wanted to keep it simple with the thought people were going to just toss them in the trash afterwards. Lol. We did good for our big day!

everything included, it was about $5000, give or take a few hundred. we did awesome with our DIYs and my refusal to buy anything full price, so it took a little extra effort in the research department, but it was well worth the stress in the end because we started our "new life" completely debt free.
