How's the weather where you are now?
And how does it compare to your wedding day weather/forecast?
We're in the middle of a bit of an ice storm at the moment. So far there are no power interruptions, but we're expecting them. My husband's usual 45 minute commute to work took over 2 hrs each way today. Now we're home and just keeping warm!
Our wedding day was the exact opposite. It was a super-hot June day. The heat index was over 100 degrees. They had predicted a lot of rain, but we actually didn't have any on the big day. It was hot but beautiful!
It's pretty cold here! in the 20's. We've been getting snow off and on all week. Where I live, March in kinda unpredictable. So at the time of my wedding it could be snowy, could be in the 70's. I'm hoping for some snow! (:
Freeeeeeeeezing!!!! -11f (-22 with windchill!!!!) Nice and sunny with a beautiful blue sky though so I'm still happy!
So it's nothing here compared to where you guys are...it's currently 39. To me it feels like 0 degrees. lol.
Kind of a crazy story though, Northern Cal doesn't get snow where I'm from, pretty much ever, but last night we drove up to a casino up the hill a little bit, knowing it forecasted a bit of snow, but we thought it coudln't get that bad. Well we were almost snowed in the casino!! Not that the snow was all that bad, but for a part that rarely gets snow, nobody was prepared!!! I think it was like 2-3 inches!! teehee.
My wedding day ranged between a nice 80 in the morn and night, and about 90 during the day. Perfect!
The weather in Georgia is strange...yesterday it was 80 degrees and today was about 60.
Our wedding day it rained in the morning...I remember sitting in the chair as my hairstylist was fixing my hair and the staff at the mansion asked me if I wanted to set up for the plan B services inside. I told them no let's wait I have a feeling it will let up. My hairstylist was shocked that I didn't have the bridal party in there with me as I was getting my hair done...I told her I needed some Zen time before they came. I told her, "You'll know what I mean once they get here," no more than 30 mins later they all came in screaming with excitement. Thank God I was correct, because the clouds went away and all my bridesmaids, MOHs, and flower girls started showing up. We had a beautiful afternoon wedding with clear skies and it was a hot day in June.
nice stories to everyone but i like winnter season and i want to get married in this season i really love that is season...........
It is cold here in Texas... rainy and cold. Not my favorite combination. It is cold here in Texas... rainy and cold. Not my favorite combination.
It's freezing here in Iowa!! It's about 10 degrees, below 0 with windchill...this is January-February weather for this area, not pre-Xmas weather!!
My wedding day was a beautiful mid-80s...sounds amazing right about now!
We're having the same problem Sam! If its this bad now I don't even want to think about February (actually that's a lie isn't it??). We were down to -30c (-39 with windchill) last week. They said on the radio that it was colder here than at the North Pole!!!!
It's a typical rainy/snowy Dec day in Massachusetts. I think we have a few inches outside, no big. I also think its around 30F.
We were SO lucky on our wedding day. It was cold, but much warmer than we expected for November, it was about 60F.
Uhlease--your post cracks me up. One winter while visiting my brother in VA it started barely snowing and I swear I was the only car on the road, people were pulled over everywhere waiting it out. I wish everything stopped here when that happend, I wouldn't be at work right now! ;)
The high today is 32. The sun is out so hopefully we will get some melting action going on. On May 28th it rained. Before and after our I Do but not during. Once we got to Vegas it was warm and loving, just like the rain in my opinion.
