How to make snapshots less like... snapshots?
Being a (fairly) new first time mom with a full time job, my photographic subject has narrowed down to my son, in the house, after work. In other words, they're pretty much all snapshots done under poor lighting. However, I still try my best to make them less boring, less snapshots-like.
Out of hundreds of photos I shot this year, I picked these ones out a few weeks ago and made them public on flickr. Today when I reviewed them, I still think they all look like snapshots, worthy only of facebook. :(
I would love some constructive criticism from you wise ladies. Can you use one or two pics from my set (the more the merrier) and tell me how you would've done differently so they look less casually-shot? Be it composition, babies' attire, messy background, lighting, color, etc.
