How to NOT go broke buying thank you gifts?
Ok, so I know it's expected that the bride and groom get their bridesmaids and groomsmen a little gift to say thank you. But I know alot of you on here are planning on giving gifts to your parents too. My FI has been married before and he said he's never heard of giving parents a gift, only the bridal party. But I feel feel kind of bad not getting all our parents something to say thank you for helping us both money-wise and with throwing rehearsal dinners and whatnot. But it would be so easy to spend hundreds of dollars on gifts and we just don't have that. This wedding is costing us twice what we planned. So, what to do?
What and to whom are you giving gifts? Thanks.
Oh BTW- we already planned on giving the parents(my mom, his dad and step-mom and his mom and step-dad) a book of our wedding photos once we get them back from the photographer.
