I didn't even get to share my BFP :(

Hey all sorry I haven't been to active on the boards :( I have been holding my breath praying my little bean would stick... After having a chemical pregnancy the cycle before this one I decided to be a little more cautious with this one... I got my BFP at 11 DPO which was July 23... It was DARK just as dark as the control line :) I was so excited!!! And it just kept getting darker! By 14 DPO the test line took over and you could barley see the control! We decided not to tell anyone since the mc the month before.... I was honestly just scared I would jinx it... Well at about 5w 3d I started to bleed (sorry TMI) just when having a bm.... I went in to see the dr and they did some blood work to make sure my HCG was looking good... Well they said it was but the bleeding wouldn't stop so I went back the next week to have more bloodwork done... This time she check my progesterone and it was low at 6w 1d it was 6.1 :( So she put me on prometrium and decided to do a u/s... And there it was my little bean growing just like it should (so she says) there was a yolk sac... They next week we decided to do another u/s just to make sure that the baby was growing as it should... She did discover during my exam the bleeding was caused because my cervix was easily irritated... Well last thurs 8/18 I had my 2nd u/s at 7w 2d and there it was a little flickering heartbeat :) I was still not letting myself get to excited because with all the bleeding it still scared me no matter how much the dr reassured me... Friday 8/19 I started to bleed more frequent and had cramping... I just knew something was wrong... Well at 6:55 pm my little bean passed :( It has prob been one of the hardest things I have ever gone threw...

Sorry this is so long it just feels good to be able to tell someone about it...

Since this happened twice in two cycles I am now going to see a Maternal & Fetal Medicine dr before we are able to TCC again....

Thanks so much for anyone that takes the time to read this... The support on this site is so amazing....

Baby dust to you all!

Futuremsg: I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost a baby at 10 weeks back in June. It's really hard but each day gets a little easier. Definitely makes sense to see a specialist. They can run a huge number of tests and better monitor to you during ovulation and conception. After going to a specialist I found out that I had a blood clotting disorder that is treatable but it is very hard to sustain a healthy pregnancy. I never would have known without my RE. We are here for you to vent.... best thoughts to you during your healing process.

Thank you both so much!

@mikesgirl~ I ended up changing my dr and am going to see a fertility specialist OCT.4th they said I had to wait to see him until 6 weeks after the mc... Does that sound right? I am praying that whatever they find it's fixable :) Sorry for your loss as well :(

A RE is definitely a good move now. I see that you m/c naturally. Did you ever go in after for an ultrasound to make sure that everything came out? Are you still bleeding? I had to have a D&C because my pregnancy wasn't progressing but I also wasn't miscarrying. I ended up needing to go to my RE for a couple of post-ops b/c I got a UTI and a kidney infection but they also needed to make sure that the uterus looked good and drew blood to make sure that my betas were going down. I then had to take provera because I wasn't getting my period. They didn't put me back on clomid to force ovulation until about 5 weeks after the d&c. I know that for some people it can take like 4-6 weeks (or longer and require provera) to get their next period. Most doctors will recommend at least one cycle before starting again (which is probably where the 6 weeks comes from). I know that it feels like forever but hopefully your doctor will run a lot of tests in a really short period of time and you'll quickly have your gameplan.....

This is prob TMI but I don't know how else to explain it.... Friday night when I miscarried I actually see it :( It haunts me everyday! My ob decided to open the clinic and see me on Sat to make sure that what I see was in fact the baby... She did the u/s and sure enough everything was gone... She measured my uterus and said everything looks like its coming out like it should... I am still bleeding and passing clots with some cramping even today but it is much better then Friday night threw yesterday...

Yes me too... 6 weeks seems like an eternity but if it will help in the chance that I don't have to go threw this again I am all for the wait! Thank you so very much for your encouraging words they mean the world to me!

I posted on your other thread but just wanted to say again how sorry I am. It is heartbreaking to read this. Hopefully in that time that you need to wait your body and your heart can heal a little bit.
