I'm so bad and I hate to admit this...

I know we prob all look at our registries, right? Please say right!! Anyway, my friend shower is next weekend (I'm having two because my stinking family is gigantic!) anyway, it's really exciting seeing what people bought us but wow, I think some people are really cheap. I know, I'm horrible thinking that and especially since they are buying us gifts and we haven't even received them....BUT, my good friends buying a $25 item?

Do I need to cash in my one-way first class ticket to hell for thinking this?? Anyone wanna join me? ;)

I'm right there with you girl!  Our wedding was a month ago and we still haven't rec'd gifts from certain guests that attended. Now granted guests have up to a year but I'm not holding my breath.  And I know it's not about the gifts but come on now!  And some wedding gifts (not shower gifts mind you) were $25.  BUT they were from OLD friends that are filthy rich.

Ok I'm going to hell too.

That's what I was thinking that maybe they bought multiple little gifts???  but i hate that too...we have a family of 6 that I don't want to invite all of them because they are just cheap...like they bought my little sister an eyeshadow (yes just one $5 eyeshadow!) for her sweet 16...and that was all they got!!!!! So save me a first class seat next to you...

NWR--- but at least you never got the free gift w/ puchase and not the purchase also as a Holiday gift!!!  yep that would be me - or a mini-book-light that clips on to the pages!!!

the best one--->  the majority of my fam is doctors and nurses - they "gift" us the free marketing stuff that the pharma companies give away for freeeeee!  i once got a duffle bag - pretty nice with "Eli Lilly" emblazoned on it - not a cool gift for a 13 year old!! hahahaha

I'm sorry, did you just say a huge wooden fork and spoon? You should invite them over and use it for salad or something!! Just say, "Oh, I thought it was a kitchen appliance?"  heeheee

ps. I was going to say to use it for tossing salads but then that made me giggle and I didn't want you guys to know how immature I am...but I guess I just did!!! HA!

I received 2 champagne glasses that had a little dust on them, when I turned them over, the sticker said "May Company", for those that don't remember, May Company merged into Robinsons May back in the early 90s, which are now Macys.  So we obviously got a recycled gift, they could have left that ISH in the closet they pulled it out of. hahahahaha

I remember as a child going to a family friend's house who did the sofa in plastic thing.  Oh man during the summer it was miserable!  It would get all sticky and nasty.  Gross!

"Sony Trinitron" - - oh the memories!!  ahhahaahah!!
