I'm torn..Need opinions on honeymoon spot!!

Hey ladies!

So FI and I are looking at diff honeymoon spots and he tells me that he is fine with whatever I choose... we did agree that we are going to stay in the US to save money for another trip we want to go on later on in the year of our wedding..

The problem is I am sooo torn! there are so many nice bed and breakfast spots in some beautiful locations!

I was thinking between..

  1. Lake George (NY): http://www.lakegeorge.com/business/sun-castle-resort-on-lake-george-350/website/

  2. the Hamptons (Long Islansd, NY): http://www.bedandbreakfast.com/east-hampton-new-york.html

  3. Newport (Rhode Island): http://www.cliffsideinn.com/

  4. Napa Valley (Cali): http://www.oldworldinn.com/

I chose NY because i was thinking we can just drive there and it would cut the cost of transportation expenses. But we are open to anything.

Which do you think is a better spot and also romantic?? :-)

Wow! These are all great choices. I was leaning towards #1 and #3 because it is by the water and that always makes me think of romance, but the pictures from Napa Valley blew me away! Champagne bottle in between the two chairs at the foot of the bed? A fireplace and the bed surrounded by fabric??? My first choice is option 4 and second option 3.

I grew up in Napa and know a lot about it. Most of my family is still there. so if you chose Napa I can tell you quite a bit. There are lots of nice places to stay and to eat. I might know of a few "off the beaten path places too" wink wink. Theres Napa, Yountville, St Helena, and Calistoga.
