I need opinions on these flowers please!

So I'm being a typical bride and changing my mind as often as the weather, I'd really like some advice on these flowers I'm looking at.

I'm interested in this bouquet for myself, I think they are stunning but one of my bridesmaids thought differently and I'm a bit put off now http://tiny.cc/acw7jx

My colour theme is white and vintage lilac so they said they would colour match my flowers if I sent them a swatch but I'm still not sure as I don't know what they will look like in the end. So please be honest with me, what are your thoughts? I don't want to change my mind on the day.

t think it is about what you like.  if you love this for you, then do it for you.  i would recommend something simpler maybe for the bridesmaids. are you wanting to stick with mostly white and just small amounts of lilac?  if so, then the bridesmaids could be the white roses and lilac.

lilac in mass is beautiful...

i think the important thing to remember is that the entire day should reflect your styles.  dont pick things out just because your friends love it.  you want people to walk into your wedding and say, "this is so them."  it may not be their style, but they will recognize that it is yours and love that you made it like that.  one of the best "themed" weddings i ever attended was sooooo not my style, but it was the bride and grooms styles.  it matched them perfectly.

I love that bouquet, so feminine! But for your white and vintage lilac theme, you may include more lilacs/flowers in purple shades.

Perhaps like these?

Hi Krosa, what a lovely response, you have given me a lot to think about, I think I'm just so stressed just now I don't know what to think but I agree it should feel like it suits me. They said they would airbrush my flowers by hand to include more lilac and I'm thinking about toning the greenery down a lot.

I'm just trying to picture it all in my head now, I wish there was an app where you could create your perfect bouquet so you could see how it all looks before you purchase it.

@bridelatrice816 I love your suggestion the white and lilac is so simple yet beutiful.

i'd say look on pinterest and google and see if you find any bouquets or centerpieces that you like.  that way you can visualize how it will look.  if you cant find anything, then i recommend having a smaller version of your idea for a bouquet made by the florist a couple months in advance.  that way you can see it in person and tell if you like it.  if you decide you dont. then you at least have so me time before the wedding to rethink the flowers.  or maybe talk to the florist and find out when they recommend doing the trial.

do you know the kind/s of flowers you want?  roses, tulips, peonies, orchids, hydrangea, lilacs, lavendar, freesia, anemone...  do you have greenry that you like?

GREENERY...

if you know the kinds of flowers you like and greenery you like, then you could just go to the florist and have them grab some of each of those and put them together.  that way you can see them next to eachother and find out which ones you like and which ones maybe dont go so well.  once they kind of get an idea of the types of flowers and the sort of look you want they may be able to recommend flowers or an arangement style.

just look online and through magazines for arrangement styles you like.  overlook the colors or flowers if need be.  if you are looking for something a little more unique and you see the style of bouquet you like, keep it/ pin it.  i would also recommend keeping some pics of ones you hate.  that way the florist has an idea of what you dont like.  most florist will do a sample in store of the centerpieces so that you can ok it or not.  you could ask them to do that for your bouquet too if you want.  they then keep the flowers and can either sell them or use them for their displays.  having a smaller one made like i said before is something you would pay for.
