I've lost five pounds, ugh!

I'm nearly nine weeks pregnant, and due to being sick all of last week, I have lost 5 pounds. I'm really hating this. Don't get me wrong, I'm blessed to be in my position, I just hate the sickness. First ultrasound is next week so ,hopefully, this will cheer me up. I just feel like I have the pregnancy blues. :-(

Aww - sorry you feel that way. I think that's normal actually. When I was pregnant I didn't lose weight, but I was always irritable, tired, headaches just plain miserable.  Once 2nd trimester hit it was smooth sailing...and the pounds added.  I had some good eating though those 9 months.  ;-)  Cheer up, it will pass.  I promise!!  <3

Wow there really is a baby boom on PW.

Don't worry, I hear it get better in the 2nd trimester. I'm having nausea problems too, it comes in waves, although most of my issues are from pregnancy Rhinitis, I'll spare you the details (pretty gross) =P...Back to the nausea though, Have you gotten "sea bands" yet? you should if you haven't, they have helped me with the nausea a lot. They look like little sweat bands with buttons on them (pics below). You put one on each wrist on a pressure point and it helps take away the sickness...they sell them at most pharmacies, also get the sea band ginger gum, great for morning sickness. Hope this helps! Feel Better, and CONGRATS!!! =oD

I just had my son 6 months ago so it hasn’tbeen long since my pregnancy. I had really bad "morning" sickness with him. I went to motherhood maternity and got these preggie drops they really helped me! The bands are amazing as well!!
