Ideas for Bridesmaids Gifts?

I'm trying to think of what would be a good idea for a bridesmaid gift. I want to give them nice things, with about a $100 budget for each one.

Any ideas?

Tiffany has lots of silver gifts, keychains, earrings etc that are within your budget. Worth checking?

Beware of Tiffany's SILVER tarnishes!! The only think you can do is buy a new one later on to replace it. GIve them something that will last forever! not a few years....

Champ -- I checked Tiffany's but their under $100 is actually pretty limited. Somehow a leather key chain doesn't seem like a good thank-you to me.

JD -- She had some good ideas. I can use them as models, but a bunch of those things were way out of my price range.

I guess I was thinking of a purse with jewelry. Maybe a jewelry box or something. I just really want them to know how much I appreciate them because they are the best!

You could do some sort of spa treat? Some people do this stuff all the time so they're used to it. I had my first all day spa experience a couple months ago and what a treat! We got spa GC for my BMs, I love the spa my FI found...

Spa treatment would be great! Style me pretty had some cute things I may order for myself ;) Have you seen redenvelope.com?
BTW Jess - all silver tarnishes if its good quality. It requires polishing, TarnX works very well.

I chose some little things that each person will get (a tote bag, flip flops, and a robe), but then each girl is getting something specific to her. My wine lover is getting local wine, a portable wine cooler, and a cute wine stopper. My travel buddy is getting monogrammed silver luggage tags and a cute travel jewelry box from C&B. I don't know what I am giving my bridesmen (other than a tie) or my FSIL yet, but have the others figured out! I just feel like it is really personal when they all get things that relate to them as people and the time we have spent together.

My mom is making "beach" tote bags for each of my BMs. The main fabric is canvas and I picked out different fabrics for each BM to make them unique and we will have the pocket embroidered with their name (total cost: under $10/bag). Then I happened upon this jewelry set from Things Remembered when it was on sale and I had a 20% off coupon.

I wanted to get them each something different or unique, but this seemed like the best fit for all of them. I will be treating them all to their mani/pedi for the wedding.

I got each of them a robe from Burlington Coat Factory ($10 each) that I was going to wait to give them, but have decided to give it to them as their hostess gifts for the shower.

Depending on time and money, I may still get them each a little something that is unique to them (i.e. a journal, wine, something for the house). I have also thought about making a small photo book after the wedding with pics of us through the years.

Check out Overstock.com for jewerly. They have pearls and gold with diamonds for well under $100. If you want to do a little collection of things, you can do costume jewelry (something to wear at the wedding?), a little handbag, hand lotion or yummy smelling soaps, etc.

Personally, I really don't think you can go wrong with a purse and jewelry! I was MOH last summer and my BFF gave us cute straw bags in red (to match our dresses), cloisoinne earrings to wear with our dresses and red silk gerbera daisy clips to wear in our hair at her wedding. She also included old navy flip flops, and something personal for each girl, so for me it was an adorable PUG shaped luggage tag (I love pugs!).

When she was our officiant for our wedding, we got her white gold and blue topaz earrings and a matching pendant on sale at Kohls.com.

I'm with lori, you can't go wrong purse and jewelry. You can get a coach wristlet for under 50. Also, if you are gearing towards jewelry...fresh water pears are inexpensive or their birth stone.

I decided to order some correspondence cards for each of them. I went to a small stationary shop and they gave me a "bulk" discount just because I asked ;) and they're printing them on Crane's cards - worth asking!!

(running to overstock.com now aching...)
