Budget Savvy Brides: $10K and Under

Inexpensive Venues!!!!

If you are looking around for a venue and you dont have a few thousand to fork out, I have the answer. Try a country club (I am not talking about the ones in an apartment complex), these are located in neighborhoods, golf coarses etc. The one I found is in an upper class neighborhood (kinda in an older community) but it is just as pretty as these other venues that cost around 5k or up. Most of them have huge halls, with nice lighting, vaulted ceilings, large dance floors, waterfalls and much more. It gets even better, most of them are free except they require you to purchase some type of the food from them. So you can get some hors' devours, drinks or whatever, there are many combinations to use this to your advantage and save you tons of money. Most of them also let you bring in food, cake and drinks from other places as well. On top of that, a lot is included: tables, chairs, linens, chair covers, china, servers (only for what you order from them). Check them out!

Very True! I'm having mine at a Community Center and with everything coming together...it will be just as beautiful as any other venue.

Good advice! We went to check out a club house in my FI's grandmothers neighborhood, but they told us we can only have an event if it is for the member who lives there!!! We'll see about that...LOL

I'm doing a golf course myself! It's in a smaller town, so the prices are great. $500 for the rental (including take down & set up), and if we do their catering and liquour, it'll be under 5k.
