You should check out songs by Vitamin String Quartet. They do contemporary songs but they are instrumental versions.
Coldplay - Yellow by Vitamin String Quartet
I'm Yours - Jason Mraz by Vitamin String Quartet
I'm walking in to Carol Ann by Michael W. Smith.
I walked to "Falling Slowly" played in acoustic guitar...
Bride Processional- "Falling Slowly" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXl4C76_1nA&feature=related
that's so funny starbux--- I've been obsessively listening to VSQ ever since I decided to have a live string trio or quartet for the ceremony.. I'm realllyyyy leaning towards "wonderful tonight" by eric clapton... I like the song, but not as much as i love the way it sounds played by a string quartet!
Another good one to look up is Piano Tribute Players! My sister almost used a lot of their music for her wedding before we found an affordable pianist.

@thompst - I'm obsessed with them, too. We used their version of "All You Is Love" as our recessional song. I just love them.
