Intro

Hey ladies! Thanks to this forum, I'm confident that DressilyMe is the right choice. I went dress shopping yesterday and was extatic to tell the shop person that my budget was unlimited (since all the Dressily's I like are under $300). Of couse I'm not going to tell her I am not purchasing there, but I was able to try on the designer's originals  I was considering having replicated from Dressily, and boy was it fun!


 I am having quite a time deciding between one they called Peyton (I cannot remember which designer, but it looked very similar to Maggie's Sabelle) and another that would be the Maggie Nora (adding more beads). they are very very different. One would be taffeta and the other, tulle. Gosh it's a hard decision, but I'll be going again next weekend to try them on again and see if I get "that feeling."

Talk about AMAZING customer service... I messaged Dressily on Facebook because I coulnd't find the Maggie Sottero Prestyn on their site... they didn't have it, turns out... so whoever does their facebook page talked to the desingers, who said they could make it and they added the dress and it can now be ordered. 


 


I just need to decide between Maggie's Prestyn and her Anniston... such a tough decision! lol

That's awesome! Let us know if you decide to order from them! I ordered my dress on March 27th and when I woke up this morning I had an email from them saying it had been shipped! And it's supposed to arrive TOMORROW! I'm super excited/nervous!

Yes. As someone who has ordered from them I can vouch that they are good. English is a bit off but it still made sense and that's the important part. They are helpful and was able to do what I asked. I'm glad you guys are happy as well! The picture of the dress they made me is in my bio!

LPruett, your dress is gorgeous! I think I've decided I'll probably go with something like the Prestyn or SaBelle.

Yes I will! I should have it in my hands this evening after work, but if not, definitely tomorrow and I will be posting pics/my review! Fingers crossed that it's not crap! LOL

Ugh, I don't even know where my dress is at this point. Yesterday the tracking info said it was at the sort facility in Seattle (which is where I'm close to) all day long and then late in the afternoon it said it was departing Memphis?? I contacted FedEx to see why the tracking said it went from Memphis to Seattle then back to Memphis and no one had an answer for me, all they said was sorry for the inconvenience and it'll be delivered today by noon. Now it has been "At local FedEx Facility" in Seattle since 9 PM last night. If it actually is or not, who knows. MAYBE I'll get it today...


Anyways, here is the dress I ordered:

oh my goodness! That is gorgeous! I'm glad your package arrived! As far as your concerns go: It does look a bit shiny... it could be the flash, but if you say it's shiny it probably is. You do look gorgeous in it, but if it's not right for you, you might try selling it on weddingbee, recycled bride, and sites like that. I've been seeing replicas sold on those sites. 


If I were you and if you have time, I would first try contacting dressily. I think you have just a few days and if it is their mistake, they say they will fix it. If they do not, contact the person who runs their facebook page. I saw him help a person out on there that didn't receive the help they needed after their dress arrived from the cus service team. 


If you still don't get anywhere, then I'd just sell it on weddingbee. It might grow on you. I know it isn't what you were expecting (which is devastating when we're brides!) but it really is beautiful on you.

Thank you :) It sucks, though since I asked them specifically to change the material because I didn't want to be so shiny and they said it wouldn't be. My sister told me it looks like plastic wrap and ziplock bags! Also, the skirt is supposed to be a-line but it is a ball gown. I'm going to try to contact them to see if I can return it and have it remade with different material and into an a-line. So we shall see!

yea... make sure you write on their facebook wall if you don't get anywhere. Either that guy was super helpful or he didn't want all the facebook fans to see an unhappy bride. So he made sure her order was fixed. You might go that route! :)
