I bought two kits from Target for our invitations. I was playing around with the template today. What do you all think?
I think they turned out GREAT!!!!
I think that is very pretty.
I like the font. I went with Chancery for mine.
You may need to mention what is happening after the ceremony. I have been to a wedding at this time before and had a few questions like, am I getting fed? When can I expect to be leaving? etc. I would say something to the effect of, "Cocktail hour and lunch to follow."
I agree with SarahGetting.. You may want to mention the time for the reception especially if there is a large gap betweeen the two. I don't have any gaps, so I did not list the times, but I have told people that it would probably be over by 5:30 pm since it gets so dark so early in February and I know a few of my guests cannot drive after dark.
We have the hall from 7am until midnight for setup and cleanup.
We are not going on a vacation afterwards so that helps. We are going back to our house for a Late Chinese Diner after clean-up with a few friends.
The invitation comes with a pocketfold, RSVP enclosure - I'm hoping to use some other card stock to create a reception card. If I can't then I will note the reception on the invitation.
@MemphisBride- It looks great, easy on the eyes and elegant!
@ SarahGetting- Thanks! Next month we'll start the invitation creation and I'll definitely incorporate that idea!
