Invite envelopes Q

Okay girls- were trying to get these invites done! Madness I tell you!

Two questions:

Do zip codes go on the same line as the city & state or underneath?

If we are the return address- do we just put Jamie & Jason or our last names? Looks too much to me???

Thanks so much! - HMM :)

i don't know about the zips...might be preference...

we're putting address only on the back flap of the actual invite envelope, and just our first names and address on the response envelope (front, of course)

zip can go either next to the city & state or on the next line. I think the post office prefers it with the city & state, but I've mailed LOTS of stuff with the zip on its own line with no problems.

For the return address, put whatever you want. We put both our first and last names because they're relatively short. You could put "Jamie & Jason's House" to make it a little cute.

FYI, just emailed you.

We just put mailing info for the return, no names... a little mystery ;) just kidding

I've recieved invitations printed in computer cursive and they looked fine and legible.

Zips are a free for all, anywhere you want within reason works

i think the post office prefers the zip next to the city and state, with no comma between the city and state.  at least, thats what their website says.

For the return address, we are just putting our first names, and we are having a rubber stamp made so we can just stamp it on all of the envelopes and return envelopes in a coordinating color.  My mom is hand addressing all of the mailing addresses in cursive.  I love her handwriting.

I think its preference where you choose to put the zip code...some have them as one whole line expanded out quite far and some just have them on the same line as city, state and zip

It will feel so good when they are out!  Good on you for enlisting help!

Having the zip code on the same line as city and state looks better IMO.  For the return address, we actually put both of our first and last names to make it look a little more formal vs for our STDs, we just put our first names.  We printed them on clear mailing labels.  Also cursive font is fine as we printed on the envelopes using the font, Snell Roundhand.
