I'm buying:

invitations w/ envelopes
response cards w/ pre-addressed return envelopes
directions card

Total is $280 for 50 of each. And they're really cute! :)

Oh, fyi- I got mine through Costco. They're having a HUGE sale on all stationary through April 21st.

I think we spent about $800 for STDs, invitations, and stamps for all of them. But we had a hundred STDs and a hundred invitations...We ordered from Crane&Co. I hand addressed all the envelopes so we didn't use a calligrapher.

200 invitations ( our graphic designer friend designed them)
cardstock
envelopes
rsvp cards
inner envelopes
we printed ourselves maps, and hotel info
thank you cards and envelopes
and postage

We spent right just under $95 for our invites. It was a DIY project and with that money we bought everything we needed: new ink cartridge, ivory printer paper, navy blue stardream, print your own postcards, navy blue ribbon, mini hole punch, inner ivory envelopes and outer ivory envelopes. We had enough to make 136 invites, direction cards and RSVP postcards. We had enough printer paper left to make 120 programs and added some of the ribbon to them. I'm estimating $90 for postage on the postcards and invites.

Ours were $300 for 30...yeah, we splurged! But I loved them and since we only had a few to get, thought it was worth it. I had considered DIY, but found a stationer to make them from only $1 more than it would have cost me to DIY...that $30 extra was worth my time and frustration for sure!

I did 100 pocketfold invites with rsvp card, 2 enclosures and diy embellishments; also 45 travel packets with maps, card enclosure and ribbon/brad embellishment. Used custom $0.41 stamps for the invites and custom $0.58 stamps for the travel packets.

Estimated total for EVERYTHING, about $900

I spent $78 at Michaels for 120 invites with a discount coupon.... even though we will only need about 85-90. They are a printable kit with card stock for invitations, ribbons, envelopes for invites, card stock for response cards, and response card envelopes. I figure $30 for a new ink cartridge... could end up having to buy 2 though!
Also I figure $70 or so for stamps for the invite and response cards.
Total will be about $178. I may still add a direction card, but I think I have decided against it.

ceejay--it sounds like a lot, but it was all the extras that ended up costing so much! the actual invites (envelopes, cardstock, pocketfolds...) cost just under 500 bucks...it was all the embellishments, custom postage and the numerous trips to the craft store that made up that additional $400!

I was never much of a DIYer, so I had to buy all the tools and materials...ugh! it definitely added up!

I spent a couple hundred for letterpress invites (pocketfold) that I designed myself.

Here is a video RSVP I just got (funniest RSVP I've gotten so far if you can call it an RSVP).

I bought 50 DIY invites with invitations, envelopes, enclosure cards and envelopes, menu card and direction card in pearl metalic pocketfolers with matching ribbon, bands and labels with a 50% coupon at A.C.MOORE for a total of $34. I bought swarvoski crystals at artbeads for $20 to embellish and $5 for a different color ribbon to accent invites. So total $59. I'm such a budgetzilla.
