i did. i think it was very pretty and sweet. i wish i had a lake at my parents house! her dress was very pretty but i thought she would have picked a dress that made her stand out a little more. nonetheless everything looked very sweet.

The cake is def crooked and the sister's weird stiff chicken arm ruins all the pics.

haha I love it Kohler and s2bmiller, not to be overly critical but I was thinking, "hmm a stone cross in a garden wedding, that's a little odd." And what about the African American minister, there's totally nothing wrong with it but it was almost like they were trying to send out some sort of equal opportunity PR message, but maybe I'm just seeing it to be a bit more sinister than it really is. The dress is lovely though.

They do not strike me as a touchy, feely, lovey dovey family. I believe this is why they photos may look a bit uncomfortable.

I agree with all of you - they look really uncomfortable together, and Barbara looks really weird - her dress is all wrong and her posture is terrible - AND the cake is crooked and the stone cross is very odd - AND the photography is uninspired, and I hate the blue luminaria. I also think that, politics aside, they're just a very plain-looking group of people. But in fairness, how stressful would it be to know that your wedding is going to be scrutinized and picked apart all over the world? I wouldn't wish that on anyone! =)

Love Jenna's gown... but I agree with everyone else. They just don't look like they're very comfortable standing close to each other. Barbara's dress looks awful on her, the cake is definately crooked and that stone cross thingy... kinda looks like a big gravestone.

I agree with aching, I wouldn't ever wish to have someone's wedding picked apart. But there was a slide show on the web!!!

Also agree with everything said here.
chicken arm! That's so right! She looks like she's come out of a space age gladiator movie...
But Jenna looks so happy, so I s'pose that's all that matters. :)

Gravestone! That's what I was thinking but it didn't click until you said it... I just thought it looked very reminiscent of stonehenge or something a bit morbid!

Oh Sloppy Jenna.
So I saw the magazine cover and dove for it at the doctor's office. I'm pretty sure the three guys waiting/bitching about their wives wanting lv and coach purses weren't going to read it, but I kind of got a little excited. First of all, I found this incredibly weird. It mentions VERY briefly that Dick Cheney "did not make the cut". My parents are making me invite their friends. I would have assumed that second in command would have made the cut. Secondly, that gravestone was created specifically for the wedding. Next, that minister is Bush's spiritual adviser, but is a supporter of Obama. What the hell is going on here?

I'm with Soon2B. I was also completely unimpressed, but I guess that's her personality. There were just too many strange factors. All I ask is for a little normalcy.

I agree, I would have expected more from the wedding of the President's daughter. But Scobb7 is right, I guess that's her personality. Heck, since that wedding didn't cost him much, maybe he can pass that extra dough over to us!!
