Jess' awesome slow cooker beef dip!

Jess hope you don't mind I made a topic just for your dip from the other thread. I made this tonight and it was a huge hit!!! DH and his friend couldn't get it into them fast enough. The meat was super tender and tasted amazing. I've never tried peppers and onions on beef dip until now and I can't believe I haven't tried this sooner.

I had to use chicken stock cause I forgot the beef at the store...lol but it tasted fantastic the same:) I also cooked it on high for 4 hours and it was perfect.

My one question is about the instant coffee. Is it 1/4 cup of instant coffee grounds? I wasn't sure so made a 1/4 cup of instant coffee (hotwater and grounds).

3lbs. chuck roast.
1 (!5 oz.)can beef stock
1 (1 1/4 ounce ) envelope onion soup mix
1/4 cup instant coffee
2 garlic cloves/minced
sliced bell pepper
sliced mushrooms
Garlic powder to taste
sliced onion

pat dry roast with paper towels
Sprinkle with kosher salt fresh pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the roast into crockpot, pour stock and coffee over the roast.
Add the soup mix and garlic into the liquid
Cook on LOW 8-10 hours.
add the veggies in about 1 hour before serving
Slice meat thin, serve in toasted rolls with your favorite cheese
Use the broth for dipping, great au jus!
