Jillian's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism...

How many of you do this workout?? I just bought it and did it for the first time today...Wow it is so much better than 30 Day Shred! It's just kind of long!

I'm struggling with losing any weight and I hope this helps!

wait!  so you didn't like the 30 day shred?.. I've been hearing good things about it.  Why did you not like it?

Ooooh that's a long tough workout!

I did both the 30 day Shred and Boost/Banish.

If you do Boost/Banish I highly recommend pairing it with 'No More Trouble Zones' and doing them on alternating days!

for LadyHannah - if you haven't tried 30DS definitely try it!  It's a great workout and awesome as an introduction to doing longer more intense activity (ie Boost/Banish).  I did level 1 and 2 of the 30DS and repeated level 2 because I didn't have level 3. . .it's how I 'kickstarted' my weightloss in January.  I lost several inches on the program, but like most girls didn't lose a single pound.

trace - that may explain why you're not losing weight?  You should take your measurements!  Once I switched to the Boost/Banish + NMTZ set I started seeing the pounds come off, so STICK with it!

aside from being longer, how is it better than 30 day shred? i did 30 day shred for a while, but started to get bored of it, so i'm looking for a new video to try.

but the reason i liked 30 day shred is that i didn't need much room (small apartment) and didn't need any equipment other than weights and a mat. would i need any other equipment for Boost/Banish?

Is the Banish Fat Boost Metabolism more cardio than the 30DS?  I like the 30DS because of the weights but sometimes I want something with more cardio on the days when I don't feel like going to the gym.

Maybe I should just start with Boost/Banish then.

Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism (BFBM) is all classic cardio kick boxing moves... think early tae bo workouts. This work out requires no free weights, however you need some jumping room.

The major difference between this and the 30-day shred is the time.... the 30-days are 20 mins each session... the BFBM is 45 mins.

I used to be enrolled in a classic cardio kick boxing class; 3 days a week, 55 minutes each, 16 weeks.... great work out and I dropped a ton of inches (this is how I got in to children jeans at the age of 20). However we also combined some light weight training.

The 30-day shred is a nice balance of weight training and cardio.... she has another workout called No More Trouble Zones that is all weights and light cardio!

You really need a mix of workouts to help your body lose the weight... doing the same routine over and over won't lead to max weight lose.

I also started with the 30DS to get me back into working out and also used to Jillian.  After that I tried the NMTZ, and plan on trying out B/B tonight.

I really love Jillian's workouts.  They're hard, and I hurt the next day, but like she says, if it hurts, it's your muscles changing.  Love it.

Feel the burn!!
