JUNE book voting!

Hello! Yay for being on time with voting again (sorry again ladies!) ... so let's get to it. What do you want to read in June?

I have a few choices from previous voting sessions, but new ideas are always welcome!

- Memoirs of A Geshia

- The Other Boylen Girl

Any others we haven't chosen you want to read? Let's vote until.... May 22nd.

I'm also going to post in the Main Forum that this has started, maybe we need some new blood to bring some life back!

PS. Happy Bookiversary! We have been doing book club for a YEAR! HOLY COW!

Historical fiction seems to be the theme here. Perhaps try Mistress of Rome by Kate Quinn. Its really good! I'm reading the sequel which is her third book. She also wrote a prequel which is her second. But Mistress of Rome TOTALLY won me over! Really good!

Another good historical fiction would be "The Mystery of the Pink Carnation" by Lauren Willig. It has romance, adventure, and post revolutionary France. I know there is a series but this is the first book.

If not I think that the Other Boylyn Girl sounds pretty legit :)

The Other Boylen Girl. I love, love, love this movie. I love historical pieces.  I believe I own memoirs of a geisha and just haven't had time to read it. Lol. I just joined the group! Yay!

I highly recommend The Other Boleyn Girl.  Well written historical fiction with a bit of raunchiness to it.

I would love to read "The Other Boylen Girl". I've been meaning to for a long time...and somehow just never did. Lol.

okay, since I think we are about at even odds here, Let's just forgo the next voting. For JUNE, we will do The Other Boylen Girl, and for JULY we will do Memoirs of a Geisha. That way if you've read one and want to read the other, both will be open. etc. Happy Reading my dears!
