Kicking

DH finally got to feel a kick with his hand a couple nights ago! It was so nice seeing him smile when he felt it. I'm 23w4d so I think it's taken a while for him to feel because my placenta is in the front so I guess that can cushion it from the outside. But he felt another one last night so it's getting easier for him to share the movements with me now :) Did any of you take a while to be able to feel from the outside?

Also, just yesterday, I was able to actually see my baby boy kick through my clothes! It was so cool! haha so now I'm having wayyy too much fun watching my belly twitch. It's keeping me very entertained at work :)

Omg, our LO is a wild animal.  He/she has actually kicked things off of my stomach....yes I'm one of those women that rest things on my belly.....cellphone, book, what have you haha.  I find myself watching my stomach throughout the day at work too, people probably think I'm weird but if they'd stop, they'd see it too haha.

yay for DH feeling it!  i started feeling it at 17 weeks, and he started feeling it around 20 or so and that's when i started seeing it too.  now my whole belly moves with her, it's really quite violent in there apparently!  this morning she was scrunched up on my ribs and hips and DH got a jab to the hand when touch my belly, and he was shocked at how hard she hit!  she was all jacked up on the glucose drink for the 3 hour test this morning i guess.

Oh my goodness! Some of his kicks already make me jump sometimes, I can't imagine how much harder they'll get!

I'm the same as you - my Dr just told me my placenta is in the front so it'll take longer for me to feel movements and then for DH as well. Which is why at 17 weeks I keep waiting to feel this kid move! :(

I keep waiting...

I started feeling kicks around 18 weeks, and DH didn't feel them until about 20 weeks. Even now, there are times when he can't feel them (almost 22 weeks), but he gets SO excited whenever he can feel movement! Baby is starting to get very active, though...I used to only feel him at certain times during the day, and the last couple days it has been nonstop!

It's so fun, isn't it?  I remember that moment well.  I think I was around 22 weeks when DH could feel it by pressing on my belly.  Now I can SEE it (I'm 27, almost 28 weeks).  I took a video of it last night because he was going crazy.
