kind of discouraging

So I know I need to be patient but I have been kicking my ass for almost 3 weeks and have not lost a single pound!! I know its more about how you feel and all but I would like to see a change in it. I have even been eating super clean and drinking what I thik is plenty of water.

I have been doing that insanity workout at night and doing some yoga/julian's 30 day shred in the morning.

Any suggestions / tips ?? Its just a little frustrating.

Are you stressed? I've heard that sometimes stress is the one to cause that belly to show.

When I had to lose weight to get back in the reserves, my recruiter told me not to eat fruit after two because it turns into sugar and not to eat after seven o'clock. I didn't drink anything but water and herbal tea. I walked with my fiance' and got on the treadmill three times a week. It's different for everyone. You have to know your body. I know not eating after seven and completely leaving pop alone helped me tremendously. Don't give up! You will see results!

Yes kplusd is right, keep going!!! It does take a lot of time for your body to adapt to a new routine and for you to see a difference.

Keep it up, you will see results. Make sure you are drinking 8 cups of water a day. After you eat a meal, drink hot green tea no sugar- it helps to speed up your metabolism. When I first started trying to loose weight I REALLY monitored my calorie intake not consuming more than 1600 calories a day- 300 for breakfast 300 for lunch 2-200 calorie snacks 600 for dinner. Progress was slow but it happened.

Now to loose the last 10 I've been using herbalife for a month and have seen immediate results.

My weight fluctuates SO MUCH it's unbelievable.  I look like I've lost weight, people tell me (like lots of people) tell me I must've lost weight, and then I get PMS-y and bloated and POOF right back where we started.  Then I get cranky and eat more and oh man.  It's a never ending cycle.

I think the focus is also on being HEALTHY, more so than losing weight.  If your habits are keeping you healthy, and you're not gaining any weight (which is a total uphill battle for women past about age 25), then it seems you're on the right path.  :)  Good luck!

Do you feel different? If you are lifting weights, first your muscles collect a lot of luids in them, and even when you are burning fat, your weight might stay the same or even go up. And remember that muscle always weights more than fat. Muscles are great for metabolism so you burn more calories just being.

I dropped some weight of last year, and I have stayed the same since. My metabolism was so slow, so when I started my weight loss, I made sure that everything I eated was making me sweat:D

I had great results with these few thing:

-Water, a lot of it. I had around ten glasses of it everyday, sometimes closer to 20.

-Green or white tea. It really puts those fluids moving, and you start to feel slimmer in few days. I had four cups of green tea with lemon everyday. (Lemon and green tea taste great, and together they really work your metabolism)

-Chili. What ever I had to eat, I put some chili powder there to make me sweat:D I can honestly say, that chili really helps at the beginning:)

- Protein, every meal, with vegetables and some carbs (whole grain bread, pasta etc) And a lot of berries. I also choose to eat things like carrots, because they burn more calories than contain.

Usually I eat:

morning:

-One boiled egg, green tea, gottage cheese with chili powder, cucumber, tomatoes and slice of rye whole wheat bread.

lunch:

- vegetable soup (not anything with cream) with gottage cheese, slice of bread with ligh cheese, cucumber and salad. Or another alternative is tuna fish with chili, rye bred with salad and cucumber.

Snack:

Carrots, nuts, sometimes just a protein shake.

Dinner:

Chiken with salad,

Steak with salad

salmon with salad

I use olive oil and pepper as a dressing, to get the fat that I need and to  get the vitamins from the salad.

Might sound like a boring diet, but I love everything I eat, because they make me feel better, I'm not fatigue anymore and I'm staying slim:)

And I always allow my self one day when I can eat anything. I usually do it the day I have my hardest work out, because my body will be burning more calories during the whole day.

I also walk at least four miles a day, and go to the gym afour times a week and to some weight training. When I walk I try to walk as fast as I can to get the most results.

and try to sleep as much you can. Sleep deprivation causes body to increase the cortisone in your blood, and that will make you gain pounds fast.

Hopefully you find something that helps you:)
