Kitchens and Bathrooms..

Does your kitchen or bathroom have a color scheme? What is it? Mine doesn't right now, but we are moving in a few months, and I'll be decorating the entire house. I would love my kitchen to be red and black, with red and black appliances and suchl. And my bathroom I'd love for it to be Brown and Cream. Anyone else have color schemes going on in these places?

Kitchen: neutrals.  But I have a lot of fun items for the dining area (placemats, fabric napkins, etc) that add some color.

Bathroom: yep, they do!  Our master is a soft sage green with a tiny spash of lavender.  Our other full bathroom is blues & shades of brown.  Our main floor 1/2 bath is yellows & terracottas (inspired by some water colors we bought in Italy and have hanging in here).  I'm torn on what to do in our basement bathroom...

Right now, not really... but what I want is light green walls, white cabinets, grey/black counters, and stainless steel appliances. :)

Our kitchen has a kinda vibrant Mediterreanen feel color-wise. The walls are a soft yellow, and the accents in the room are bold red: KitchenAid mixer, tea kettle, toaster, etc. The towels, large fruit bowl, and under-the-sink rug are all a mix of yellows, reds, hunter greens, etc.

It was important that those colors go with the rest of the condo since the kitchen is next to the brick red accent wall in the dining room.

Our kitchen has a photo 3221196-1

My bathroom is connected to the master bedroom, and the master bedroom is a really soft sage color with chocolate brown and gold accents. Therefore, my bathroom kinda continues that: a darker green on the walls, with browns, ivory, and a touch of gold/bronze.

DH's bathroom is in the hallway, so it doesn't have to match much else. It's tans, browns, and bronze. I like it, but it's nothing fancy.

Our kitchen is sorta country (no roosters though!) - the walls are a soft yellow, accents are red (towels and curtains) and furniture is black (table and buffet). I have a burlap wreath, vintage scale and a few other more rustic peices as well.  Our kitchen flows directly into our living room but I wanted a different color scheme.  So we went with a burnt orange, olive green accents (curtains and pillows) with brown leather furniture.  The two rooms flow pretty well.  I'll post pics once they are cleaned up from our holiday decorating. :)

My bathrooms:  1.  Cream and cranberry

                        2.  sage and plum in master bathroom

                        3.  Brown and blue
