Las Vegas - Griffin Mansion

Hello to all:

I am getting married in Las Vegas at Griffin Mansions.  I have not visited the Venue personally and made all my arrangements on line and via phone calls and emails, can someone tell me if they have had at experience with this venue.

Any pointers, in regards to being in Las Vegas.  My guest will be in Las Vegas for the weekend, and I would like to be able to suggest some outings.

Hi MrsLioness!

I spent months searching for venues, and the Griffin Mansion is pretty amazing =)

I will definitely recommend it, they are very pleasant to work with, the space (just one mansion, not both in my opinion) is amazing. Did you choose the Polaris or Vitruvian?

I am PMing you now :)

Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to PW!

I absolutely LOVE Las Vegas - and I'm sure your wedding will be lovely :)

There is something for everyone in Vegas - whether it's shopping (if you're on the strip you can always head to the new luxury shopping centre Crystals in City Centre..Caesar's forum shop and Planet Hollywood)...gambling (obviously..anywhere and everywhere)...entertainment and eating!

I would give a list of suggestions to your guests and suggest that you just let them divide and conquer with what they want to do.

I would HIGHLY recommend a Cirque du Soleil show - the top two I'd recommmend is O at the Bellagio (pricey) and Mystere at Treasure Island (they always have discounts and your guests can probably watch it for roughly $60/person). I recently watched KA at the MGM Grande and it was AMAZING (the set is crazy) and it's also inexpensive (in comparison to O).

OK..I think I've added a lot of stuff. I'm sure your guests will have a ton of fun (and if they don't, then they're doing Vegas wrong lol)

I'm also getting married in Vegas and looked at the Griffin Mansion on my scouting trip. I will look and see if I still have the photos I took where I was there. I love that place, it's just not in the budget.

FYI: If you need any help planning check out the knot, it's a bunch of brides/grooms getting married and can have more feedback. Without the knot forum I would be a lost cause.

the vitruvian is amazing lioness! that's the site I wanted to pick, but budget wise, it was way out of our range. You picked a good one! :)

There are plenty of things to do in Vegas, like Kaytana mentioned, and I created a little book of hotel listings, attractions and restaurants that I can email to you, and you can print out and use if you'd like-- just let me know, I am willing to share!  :)

HTH!
