What do you do when your fiance is allergic to any house work?
I thank goodness do not have a lazy DH! He does have his moments, as do I, but all-in-all, he helps out a lot around the house. : )
Have you spoken to your fiance about maybe needing his help for a few things? From my experience with my DH, he likes when I tell him I need his help (I think it's a guy thing - LOL). HTH!
I have but I think is a Hispanic thing. I'm Hispanic myself and the men in our culture are very baby. I love him so much I just have to be patience. Thanks for the advice
I used to live in South Florida, so I know exactly what you are talking about. I think the culture (or at least what I had seen with many of my friends) is that man is the main provider and the wife/SO takes care of the home and works, if she has to.
Sending you good thoughts that it might change just a little for you. Oh yes, and WELCOME to PW!!!
I'm super lucky to have a DH who does more housework than me! He starts going on a cleaning frenzy and then I feel guilty if I'm just sitting and being a slug.
But you could always do a chore jar like parents typically do with their kids. In return he can have something.
Cleaning the kitchen= Bow chicka bow wow later ;) haha
I don't have this problem at all!!! My DH is a god send! He had two weeks off after the wedding and he got our house back in order. He seperated my winter and summer clothes, organized my yarn, gave me the larger closet for my clothing, washed clothes and cooked dinner! He has never had a problem cleaning up or cooking!
awww! I hope he will at least help you with the kitchen!
