Limousine Question - Who rides where?

What we would like to do is have the bridesmaids and myself ride in a limo to the ceremony and the groom and groomsmen ride in a limo to the ceremony. With this scenario, the bridesmaids and groomsmen would not have transportation to the reception site without the limo. Unless we asked them to find alternative ways there.

Is the only issue to think about with having the bridal party ride together from the ceremony to the reception, how everyone will dropped off?

I feel like we might be asking for complications with having everyone ride together.

Will your bridal party ride in one limo from the ceremony to reception? How are you arranging your limousine accommodations?

Most Limo places have a 4 hr minimum, so if you already have two limos then the newly weds can take 1 to the reception and the party in the other limo... you can ask the party to have their cars at the reception so that way they can go home/hotel afterwards!

Just a suggestion!

We are doing a classic Rolls for us and a limo bus for our wedding party. After the reception, the wedding party will be going to their hotel, which is right near the reception venue. We are also going to have my little sister's best friend (not 21 so wont be drinking) ready to drive anyone in the wedding party to their houses (but only 2 live in the area) if they need it.

I am so stresed out about this right now- so I have NO ideas what to say or do either???

Were thinking of 2 cars- one for girls and one for the boys-  then Limo for immediate family, escorts, etc. We have to be there 1hr earlier then everybody else...

So confused???

usually in all the weddings I've been in (I am so the girl from 27 dresses) anyways...we either had family or our cars were at the reception site from the night before...The girls would ride with the bride to the ceremony (the guys were picked up all at one place and taken to the ceremony with the same limo before the BMs and Bride were) and then this is up to the Couple...I've been in weddings where they are with the whole bridal party in the limo to the reception or where they had their own car (like a rolls) and the bridal party rode in the limo...I don't know what I am doing yet...but I know I wanna be with the bridal party because we always had so much fun together and we got a lot of cute pics of my best friend with her hubby in the limo (probably my fav picture) that the photog couldn't get since he wasn't with them.
