::::::Liquid eyeliner tips::::::

Hey ladies! Does anyone have any tips on how to put on liquid eyeliner or maybe a youtube tutorial?  I love this look:

Hey ladies Does anyone photo 1975467-1

But when I do my own, it doesn't look like anything special.  Lol.  Also, what brand is your favorite when it comes to liquid eyeliner.

Thanks!

Don't use liquid.  Use a cream or gel eyeliner from Bobbi Brown, Smash Box or MAC.  They are easier to apply and look like liquid.  They also last longer.

Another trick is to use a pencil eyeliner and then take a slant tip brush and go over the liner to extend it out.  Then go over the pencil with powder on the slant tip brush to set it.

I wouldn't use liquid. I use an angled brush and Mac's blacktrack eyeliner. It's a cream, and it's FABULOUS. If I want it to last all night, I go over it with bare minerals black powder eyeliner.

I use liquid on some of my shoots. I always tell people to practice on your hand drawing the line. I know it's weird but it helps you learn how much pressure you need etc. Also Point the tip of the brush down in your eyelash line. Don't ever use it on the bottom! ICK!

and the gel is the best! my products are all avon cus my mom sells it. :) I love using the lil brush that comes with my gels to use in my eyebrow powder to do my eye brows.

The best tutorial video for all types of eyeliner is by TiffanyD, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PSc9r4tzWyk&playnext_from=TL&videos=8Hk-rHO5CYA. It's the first YouTube makeup video I ever watched and it taught me so much! She talks about all types of eyeliners and different applications.

My favorite brand for liquid liner is Kat Von D's Autograph Eyeliner, I love the jet black color "Puro Amor". My favorite gel liner is MAC's fluidline in "Blacktrack". It's AMAZING!

Gel or Mac fluidline have different looks than a liquid. I LOVE the clean look of a nice liquid line, but I agree with the posts above. For that look get some fluidline.

A great trick is to use a pencil first as your baseline and then you can "trace" over it with the liquid liner.  And q-tips are your best friend!

I do the same thing @Miss_Jules!

I make sure I sharpen my eyeliner and do a very thin line where I want my liquid liner to go and just go over it. It works best for me. I also start from the middle of the eye lid and work my way to the edge then I go from the middle to the inner. (otherside) hope that wasn't confusing!
