looking for an affordable Photographer, DJ, Florist in Orange County CA area

I am planning on getting married at the Veranda at Green River Golf Course next fall. I am looking for afforable photographers, DJs and Florists in the Orange County/Inland Impire area. I would like to stay around $500 for each. Anyone know of any?

You might try the Classifieds here on PW (all sorts of deals posted there - especially for your area) or honestly, Craigslist. The prices you have budgeted will be more for those starting out and needing to build their portfolios or get experience.  DJ's tend to be lower than florist or photographers but LA is a highly competitive and over-saturated market.

Good luck!

I'm no help since I was a NorCal bride, but you can also try posting something in the SoCal group. :)

Here is a website for photogs where you can try to narrow down by price:

It doesn't list everybody out there, and you could potentially get some to lower their prices if you're looking for shorter coverage, etc, but hopefully it can help a little!

I'm not in your area, but I was told when planning our wedding to also check with photography schools.  They sometimes have students or recent grads that are available within your budget.

Here is a quick Google search that I found:  Photography Schools in Los Angeles

HTH!!

I just did a google search when I was looking. Most DJs and photogs have websites that will give you some idea on price. I live in a small town in IN, and $500 wouldn't have gotten me either here. Craigslist might be your best bet for the price. Also, make sure that you don't know anyone that is capable. We ended up having a family member who does photography on the side take our pics. I'm not gonna lie, it wasn't the dream situation, but we simply didn't have the $1000 for a photog. Money goes fast when you're planning a wedding.

I don't know what you're looking for as far as flowers, but you could check your local grocery store. I have one in town that is actually shockingly good at wedding flowers.

Great tip, Julie!  You can definitely try to do your own flowers. :) We got ours at the wholesale market and saved a ton of money.
