Looking for rustic wedding venue in Northern CA

We are on the hunt for a rustic, charming wedding venue, either with a barn or gardens, orchards, etc.  We want something unique and interesting - not cookie cutter.  Something no more than two hours from San Francisco.  Any ideas?

you might be able to find some places in in stinson beach, bolinas, or point reyes. Sometimes  people rent out their farms for weddings. In half moon bay  there some nice farms(pumpkin patches ,the lighthouse and  other venues that might cater to a really nice wedding location

How about the Nestldown in Saratoga?  It's drop dead gorgeous!

http://www.nestldown.com/

AvaLikeLava was married there!ig

If it's too pricey there's HighlandsHouse in Ben Lomond:

http://www.scparks.com/highlands.html

And Foothill Club in Saratoga:

A little father than 2 hours North of SF is Mendocino with lots of great places, including:

http://www.searanchlodge.com/weddings.html

Yosemite and the area surrounding should also have some options.

I'd also recommend checking listings at Here Comes The Guide.

I love MarinBride's venue - Manka's Boathouse.  It definitely has a lovely rustic feeling.

I am getting married at Nestldown in 4 weeks.  It is the most amazing place, rustic, charming, whimsical as my mother says...and the people are great to work with, which has made this whole planning thing a lot less stressful :)

There is a venue called Wine and Roses in Lodi, CA.  Not to sure how close it is to  San Fran???  But I have seen pictures from a wedding there and it looks incredible!  It has that rustic/vineyard look.

Thanks everyone for all your advice.  Nestldown is gorgeous but a good friend of ours already got married there, so that's unfortunately off the table.  We are expecting around 160 guests.

We're getting married at Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito (Marin Headlands). It's not so much country rustic, but it's definitely a rustic venue. The buildings were old army barracks that have been converted into an artists residence. The renovation was actually designed/supervised by a number of artists. http://www.headlands.org/article.asp?key=49
