Lunch on The Big Day.

My wedding breakfast is a dinner in the evening. So I will be getting ready through Breakfast and Lunch. I kind of have an idea what I am going to have for breakfast. But no clue what I am going to feed myself and my bridesmaids for lunch. I don't want anything cooked. As it would make a smell. I was thinking something we can pick at but just no ideas coming to mind. Do you have any ideas? Only 37 days!

How about a meat and cheese tray. We are doing a sandwich and veg tray because we are serving a buffet dinner at the reception

My brother & SIL did platters from a local deli - sandwiches, cheese & crackers, fruit & veg, just nibbles to keep everyone going until the evening.....and champagne of course!!

My girls and I stayed at a Bed & Breakfast, so their was food for us when we woke up. Meat & cheese tray sounds good for snack-ish. Maybe get with your girls and see what they would like to have to eat while getting ready?

I honestly had no time to eat ...But I had trays of food ( fruit , cheese & meat , crackers, bagel & pastry ) I came home from a horrible hair appointment .. so I had to fix the hair before the limo got to my house and in between my hair I had my makeup appointment.... luckily I had a bag of pizza in the fridge( my saving grace lol ) I grabbed a slice on our way out the door into the limo....I did have a huge glass of champagne to get me through the rats nest of ....back combing the hair dresser gave me ;)

i agree with everyone else about the meat/cheese tray, fruit and veggies.  i would recommend water and if you wanted a glass of champagne that too.  be sure everyone in the wedding party stays hydrated.

Thanks everyone. This has helped immensely! And has given me some ideas. Sandwiches and fruit trays I reckon. ;)
